To give exhaustive answers to any questions means to win the trust of the client and finally establish himself in his eyes as a master who can be trusted with his face now and in the future.

Permanent make-up is becoming more and more dense in the life of modern people, and more and more often we meet it in the list of the most popular services of beauty salons. And of course, every person who decides on this procedure is concerned about a number of issues, since in fact permanent makeup is an invasive technique and belongs to the field of surgical cosmetology. The client has to rely on the professionalism of the permanent makeup master, the quality of equipment and pigments.

Compliance with the rules of asepsis and antisepsis in the rooms and directly during the procedure is not even discussed. A qualified permanent make-up specialist must not only be proficient in the procedure itself, but also be an excellent make-up artist and psychologist, because a person who decides to use this method of beautifying his face is always worried before the procedure, because the result remains for more than one month. To give exhaustive answers to any questions means to win the trust of the client and finally establish himself in his eyes as a master who can be trusted with his face now and in the future.

Start of the procedure

The procedure begins with a discussion of the shape of the lips, eyes or eyebrows and color matching. Naturally, the master gives advice from the “height” of his experience, helps to choose the shape and color, but the final decision, of course, remains with the client. The master must take into account that it would be wrong to focus on one part of the face, since there are laws for the formation of the image as a whole. And helping the client to choose, for example, the shape of the lips, he already compositionally includes them in the general image of the existing or desired future forms of other parts of the face.

Accordingly, the color scheme of permanent makeup should be combined with the natural colors of the skin, hair and eyes. It should be borne in mind that the pigment taken for work should be brighter than desired, because. after complete regeneration of the dyed area, the pigment turns pale by 30-40%. In addition, after the restoration of the epidermis layer (approximately 0.5-0.8 mm), the pigment, translucent through it, loses warm auricles and becomes colder due to spectral refraction. To keep the color natural, so-called spectral color stabilizers are added to the finished pigments, which, unfortunately, are produced by very few laboratories. For example, the black color will always “go” to blue, because it is used exclusively for eyeliner, where the epidermis is the thinnest and the refraction is minimal. And brown tones can change to burgundy in the eyebrow area. Olive color is specially added to these pigments, which is absorbed by the skin. To work on the lips, the whole range of red-brown and plum-pink tones is used. These flowers are characterized by a change into a cold lilac-blue honey agaric. To prevent this effect, the color of the pigment is moved to the orange spectrum.

Anesthesia and other medical aspects

In preparation for the permanent make-up procedure, application local anesthesia is currently most often used, which makes the procedure as comfortable as possible for both the client and the master.

It should not be forgotten that, like any procedure associated with the impact on the human body and in particular on its skin, permanent makeup has its contraindications. These include all systemic diseases with skin manifestations in the acute stage. If a client in the area of the proposed work has skin changes unknown to you, it is best to advise him to consult a dermatologist. Only after appropriate treatment and the permission of the doctor, you can proceed to the permanent makeup procedure. Also, contraindications include various forms of conjunctivitis (this should be taken into account when performing the eyelid PM procedure).

Separately, attention should be paid to the manifestation of herpes on the lips, which is caused by a virus (Herpes labius), which is localized in the human body on the red border of the lips and occurs in 80% of cases. Herpes itself in a latent form is not a contraindication. But in order for the virus not to activate after damage to the red border of the lips during the procedure (and it is a 100% provocation), it is recommended to conduct a treatment course with antiviral drugs, for example, Zovirax or Acyclovir (1 tablet 4 times a day for over 5 days). To achieve the optimal result, the drug is started 2 days before the procedure. It is advisable to supplement the intake of the drug with the use of Zovirax or Acyclovir ointments externally. Such a scheme is not curative, but prophylactic. To increase the resistance of the body, you can add vitamin C (1 gram per day), if recommended by a doctor.

It is not recommended to carry out the procedure of permanent makeup in case of diabetes mellitus, blood clotting disorders and a tendency to form keloid scars, exacerbation of acne. It is better to refrain from permanent makeup during menstruation, after taking alcohol and drugs that increase blood clotting time. Increased blood circulation will make it difficult to fix dyes in the skin and shorten the duration of anesthesia. To collect a complete history, a preliminary consultation is desirable, during which the specialist learns about the client's condition and tells him about the procedure, subsequent care and possible complications.

Immediately after the end of the permanent makeup procedure, slight redness and swelling of the skin are a natural reaction to injury.

After the procedure

The formation of a crust is an inevitable reaction of the body to skin damage, with a properly performed procedure, it is very thin, often resembles just peeling and heals quickly enough, within 3-5 days. Of course, each case is individual, and this must be corrected. To relieve hyperemia of the mucous membrane of the eyes, after permanent makeup, eye drops "Vizin" are used. You can apply ice cubes for 1-2 minutes on each eyelid to reduce swelling. Advise the client to prepare ice cubes at home with infusions of string, chamomile, calendula, or just black tea to use the next morning, as swelling may increase slightly. For home care, it is recommended to continue using the same ointments that were used in the salon, apply them 2-3 times a day in a thin layer until completely absorbed for 3-4 days before the peeling of the crust, and then switch to cosmetic oil or nourishing regenerating cream .

Possible restrictions after the procedure for the time of restoration of the skin is the refusal to visit the bath, swimming pool, solarium, you should also refrain from direct sunlight. And, of course, in no case should you try to remove the crusts with your hands, since in this case a depigmented area may form. The use of hydrogen peroxide, ointments containing antibiotics, and alcohol-containing formulations for the treatment is excluded - this can lead to discoloration or discoloration of the pigment.

The use of decorative cosmetics is allowed, as is normal cosmetic care, except for the use of formulations with aggressive components, such as alpha hydroxy acids. Complete healing occurs on the 12-14th day, when the skin is restored, and permanent makeup acquires its final color. After that, if necessary, a second consultation and additional correction is possible.
