Note to permanent makeup masters

Unfortunately, the hype around poor-quality tattoo removal and permanent makeup does not stop. In practice, about half of the clients come to the PM masters with a negative experience. Therefore, let's talk about removal and try to clarify - when is it preferable to use a laser?

Clients often ask you why permanent makeup is such an expensive cosmetic procedure? Answer them: "That's because the master bears great responsibility for the result!"

In the case of permanent makeup, we are talking about the most important thing for any person - his face. To make high-quality permanent makeup, the master needs to improve his skills for a long time, constantly study, explore modern techniques and replenish his arsenal with them. Only through endless improvement can a PM specialist be sure of the results of his work!

Permanent masters work on skin, not on paper, and therefore must be 100% sure of the chosen form, color, technique. Like surgeons, they have no room for error. The same goes for correcting someone else's work. The master must first learn how to remove or block the PM.

At the same time, you can often hear even from professionals with sufficient experience: “I will use a remover if I make a mistake in my work or if I have to redo someone else’s result.” I would like to warn such masters: if you allow even the thought of a poor-quality result, do not take on the procedure!

In this article, we would like to focus on the latest generation of neodymium lasers and talk about the benefits of using them, making some comparisons with tattoo removal systems (removers) using the CRC Tatoo Remuver I + II as an example. There are a lot of removers on the market, and new ones appear every year. Specialists who have completed the course of using the CRC Tatoo Remuver I + II biochemical system note the undeniable advantages of this method: the product removes the entire spectrum of pigments of any origin, contains non-aggressive acids, practically does not injure the skin and does not cause long-term healing with the formation of terrible crusts. But many years of experience shows that there is nothing better than classic methods proven over the years.

So let's compare a neodymium laser with a CRC.

Principle of operation:

  • a neodymium laser beam breaks the pigment into small nanoparticles, which are then excreted by the body through the lymphatic system;
  • The active components of the remover, which are injected into the skin to the depth of the pigment, are combined with the tattoo pigment located in the skin. The substance is pushed to the surface of the skin and comes together in crusts.

Skin damage:

  • neodymium laser pulse lasts a few nanoseconds, does not injure the skin at all, acting only on the dye. If the master uses the laser correctly, there will be no crusts and skin damage;
  • when using a remover, a mechanical injury occurs to the upper layers of the epidermis. This is necessary in order to introduce the remover to the depth of the skin before contact with the pigment. If the procedure is not carried out correctly, injuries, swelling, inflammation and crusting can occur. The more traumatized the skin, the stronger these consequences are expressed.

Client Discomfort:

  • when using neodymium lasers, there is no pain and discomfort;
  • when properly performed, removal with a remover is a painless procedure. Application anesthesia is allowed.

Procedure result:

  • when using a neodymium laser, the pigment partially disappears instantly;
  • when using a remover, the pigment leaves the skin during the procedure and the healing process

Care after the procedure:

  • when using a neodymium laser - not required;
  • when using a remover - do not wet, use a regenerating ointment, do not peel

Healing:

  • when using a neodymium laser, the final result is achieved in 30-45 days;
  • when using a remover, the final result is achieved in 30-45 days

Pause between procedures: 30 days in both removal methods

Price:

  • the cost of the laser is $3,000 or more;
  • the cost of learning how to work with the remover and the starter kit is $ 300 and more.

At first glance, everything is clear, and it seems that removing the tattoo is not difficult. But the process is complicated by many nuances.

Important is in the details

Everyone knows that the neodymium laser perfectly removes cool colors - black, blue and purple. But the apparatus loses its effectiveness in removing yellow, green, white, beige and red pigment. And if you consider that there are much more lip pigments on the market than removers, it becomes clear why there are so many difficulties with the removal of permanent lip makeup. Therefore, it is better to remove permanent make-up of eyebrows and eyelids with a laser, and lips - mainly with a remover.

When the laser removes the red and pink colors, the synthetic pigment instantly changes color to gray and loses color intensity. You shouldn't be afraid of it. Recommend the client to use decorative cosmetics after laser hair removal in order to “survive” this period quite easily. For example, a client with pink-red eyebrows came to you for removal. One laser removal treatment is enough to neutralize pink to grey. And in a month, decide what to do next: blondes can be left with corrected ash-colored eyebrows, and brown-haired women can be offered a slight warm color correction.

Often, PM masters say that the neodymium laser does not remove well, leaves burns, swelling, scars, and the procedure for clients is painful. All this can happen only if the device is used incorrectly. If you are a master and you have similar difficulties, immediately sign up for training.

Just buying a remover in a store is quite difficult. Training centers sell them only after completing a training course for working with this tool. And rightly so, because neither the laser nor the remover tolerate self-taught.

The task of the master is not only to choose the right strategy and sequence of work, but also to calm the client, convey to him the features of the procedure, demonstrate photos before and after, as well as after the final healing, show him his certificates, and so on. It must be understood that the fears of clients are not unfounded and sometimes it is not easy to earn the trust of the owners of blue or red eyebrows.

Usually, the question “How many removal sessions will be required” can be more or less definitely answered after the first procedure and complete healing of the skin. It all depends on the amount of pigment applied to the skin, its chemical composition, the “age” of the tattoo, the depth of application of the pigment, the color and density distribution of the pigment in the skin, trauma and scarring on the skin. In cosmetology, there are no instant quick wins. So quite often two, three or even 5 sessions will be needed. Therefore, you should explain to customers that they must be patient.
