Permanent make-up: procedure through the eyes of clients
You need to approach the permanent procedure consciously!

All stages of co-creation: how does your client see the technology of permanent makeup application? We discuss the stages from consultation to recommendations for care
How is the permanent makeup procedure performed? Let's take a look at the entire process from start to finish.
Consultation
At the consultation, the master will discuss with the client the sketch, the style and technique in which the work will be done, the color of the pigment, ask about the presence of diseases, talk about how the skin will heal after micropigmentation and how to take care of it after the procedure.
Draw a Sketch
This is the stage of joint creativity of the master and the client. Pay attention - even if the master draws a sketch, the client confirms its correctness. If the client does not agree with the sketch, the master does not have the right to insist on its implementation. The sketch is drawn until it satisfies both parties.
Anesthetize
Tattooing, permanent makeup is a procedure associated with a violation of the integrity of the skin, so during the procedure some discomfort may occur - tearing, sneezing, and pain may also occur. The degree of severity of sensations depends on the individual characteristics of the client's nervous system.
In case of discomfort, the master can quickly eliminate them with the help of local anesthetics. It should also be noted that situations where the client experiences pain are extremely rare in the practice of masters working on modern equipment. For us, the situation has already become familiar when the client falls asleep during the procedure.
Lips
A master with a medical education can offer application and injection anesthesia. Master without medical education has the right to do only application anesthesia. Injection anesthesia of the lips is performed with dental instruments and preparations.
Brows
As a rule, this area does not require special anesthesia. It is usually quite enough to apply a 2% solution of lidocaine several times on the exposed skin. If necessary, the master uses application anesthesia.
eyelids.
Most often, application anesthesia is used in this area.
Carrying out the procedure
Lips. The duration of the procedure on the lips, depending on the area of work and technique, can vary from 40 minutes to 3 hours. Please note: you should not insist that the wizard work faster. The speed of work is not always an indicator of quality, rather the opposite. Therefore, it is better for the client to correctly calculate his time, so that he does not have to be late or rush the master. We do the procedure.
Home care. The healing period of a tattoo, (permanent makeup) of the lips is usually 3-5 days. On the first day, there will be swelling on the lips, on the 2-3rd day there will be crusts of bright or dark (outwardly it looks like brightly painted lips) color on the lips, for 3 -4 days the crusts begin to peel off. When the peeling is over, the processes of distribution and fixation of the pigment will take place in the skin, so the final result of the procedure can only be judged after 28-30 days. But already on day 4-5, subject to the rules of care, you will look quite presentable.
Within 14 days it is recommended:
- use special wound-healing ointments for the lips, after each meal
- wash the skin around the lips with warm boiled water, without the use of detergents
