Permanent makeup - the art of changing
What you need to know when performing permanent makeup on the delicate area around the eyes? What technique should be preferred? How to choose the right shade of pigment?
The sensitive and delicate area around the eyes requires a special approach. Cosmetology and plastic surgery work mainly with the form, but for a more complete effect, it may be necessary to complement the form with color. In this case, permanent makeup is successfully used. What you need to know when performing it on the delicate area around the eyes? What technique should be preferred? How to choose the right shade of pigment?
Possibilities of permanent makeup
Permanent makeup is the microimplantation of hypoallergenic dyes, in which the pigment is injected into the skin with the finest needle. Today, this procedure has become an integral part of aesthetic medicine: it can be independent, it can be the final part of a comprehensive cosmetic program. Modern dermatocosmetology and surgery allow you to get excellent results in the fight against age-related changes. But permanent makeup can also make a significant contribution to it. With the help of this procedure, you can restore colors lost over the years, emphasize the individual features of the face, correct small imperfections in proportions and shapes, and create a sense of harmony.
With the help of special pigments in various shades, which are selected based on the color type of the face, using various pigmentation techniques, excellent results can be achieved. So, when performing permanent make-up of the eyelids, the pigment is introduced into the eyelash growth zone (if it does not go beyond the border of the ciliary line, the make-up looks as natural as possible). Due to this technique, it becomes possible to create the effect of thick eyelashes, as well as delicately adjust the incision and position of the eyes on the face. If permanent makeup is done in the form of arrows or shading, the eyes look artfully tinted.
One of the popular procedures is permanent eyebrow makeup. By changing the shape of the eyebrows, making them airy and flying, you can emphasize the beauty of the cut of the eyes, make them more expressive. For permanent eyebrow makeup, a technique that imitates hairs is used, which allows the eyebrows to look natural and natural.
Problems that are solved with the help of permanent makeup in the eye area can be divided into individual, age-related and related to improper care.
A bit about facial harmony
The harmony of the face is largely determined by the proportions of its parts. Individual problems that are successfully corrected by permanent makeup include such shortcomings that are not related to age, but are caused by the features of the face:
- eyes are too close to each other;
- eyes set too wide;
- downward position of the eyes;
- ascending eye position;
- horizontal position of the eyebrows;
- descending eyebrow structure;
- uneven hair growth along the entire length of the eyebrows;
- rarely growing hairs on the eyebrows;
- light, inexpressive color of eyelashes and eyebrows;
- eyebrow asymmetry;
- scars in the eyebrows and eyelids.
What proportions should be aimed at when performing permanent makeup? The ideal distance between the eyes is equal to the length of one eye. If in fact this is not the case, it is enough to shift the visual focus. For example, if the eyes are set too wide, the ciliary line is drawn along the contour of the eye as close as possible to its inner corner. This technique visually brings the eyes closer. If the eyes are located close to each other, the ciliary line begins to be drawn from the middle of the upper eyelid, expanding it to the outer corner of the eye. Thus, the emphasis shifts to the outer corners, and the distance between the eyes seems to be large.
According to the law of the play of color and shadow, known in painting, everything light increases and pushes forward, dark - reduces and pushes back. This phenomenon is used in permanent makeup to correct the size of the upper movable eyelid. With deep-set eyes, a light pigment is applied to the upper movable eyelid; the same technique is used if the movable eyelid is too small. When the eyelid is too large, you can make a wider eyelash line and apply the shading technique with dark shades - graphite, brown, etc. In the first case, the eyelid will appear large, in the second it will decrease.
Anti-aging permanent makeup
When correcting age-related changes, permanent makeup can become an alternative to surgical operations, especially if the patient is not mentally ready for serious interventions. The most common indications for permanent eye makeup in this case are:
- omission of the ciliary line;
- loss of brightness of the color of eyelashes and eyebrows;
- loss of eyelashes and eyebrow hairs;
- drooping of the tips of the eyebrows;
- eyebrow asymmetry associated with uneven sagging of the skin;
- darkening of the skin of the upper movable eyelid.
To correct the drooping of the ciliary line and the tips of the eyebrows, a line is drawn on the eyelids that rises at the outer corner of the eye. At the eyebrows, the lower row of hairs is plucked and new hairs are added - above their own. Thus, the eyebrow is lifted and the face looks younger.
One of the manifestations of skin aging in the eye area is darkening of the skin of the mobile eyelid. Age spots and protruding capillaries make the look tired and even exhausted. In this case, an inter-ciliary line is drawn - to create the effect of thick and bright eyelashes, and a light pigment is slightly shaded over the eyelid over it. A light glare that appears on the upper eyelid distracts attention from skin defects, makes the look fresh and attractive.
Aesthetic problems associated with improper care in the eye area are also corrected by permanent makeup. It can be thinning or complete absence of eyebrows that have stopped growing due to excessive plucking, as well as loss of brightness of the eyebrows due to frequent dyeing. Well-shaped eyebrows draw attention to the eyes, make them large and expressive. They do not just decorate, but transform the face - so much so that the client is completely satisfied with the minimum means of decorative cosmetics.
Technical nuances
Contraindications to permanent makeup are the tendency to form keloid scars, diabetes mellitus, dermatological diseases, high blood pressure, low blood clotting, psychological instability.
The procedure for permanent makeup of the eyebrows lasts about two hours. An hour is allotted for consultation, color selection and shape selection. The process of introducing the pigment takes from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the type of skin. With the use of anesthesia, this procedure is completely painless.
Permanent make-up of the eyelids is a more “tangible” procedure, however, with the use of modern anesthetics and proper psychological preparation, it is easily tolerated.
Thus, permanent makeup is a modern technology that allows you to create a bright, attractive image, eliminate natural facial defects, and hide signs of aging in the delicate eye area.
