Permanent eye makeup: what's new?
Range of permanent eye makeup treatments offered

There are many artistic techniques of permanent eye makeup, thanks to which you can give the look amazing expressiveness and beauty. But the art of micropigmentation does not stand still.
Previously, the phrase “eyelid tattoo” was used only for staining the space between the eyelashes (interciliary tattooing or permanent makeup of the interciliary zone) or, at best, a small arrow. Today's realities offer a much wider range of procedures offered.
Permanent make-up of the eyelash line
Painting over the skin of the eyelids in the eyelash growth zone is becoming more and more popular, introducing more and more new options. Eyelash line makeup can be performed on both the upper and lower eyelids, looks natural and suits almost everyone. Of all types of tattooing, inter-eyelash tattooing is considered the simplest procedure and requires the minimum amount of time to perform.
For women, the PM master can offer inter-eyelash tattooing in a classic color, as well as in various shades of gray, graphite, cold brown, or any decorative shades. Increasingly, requests for eyelash tattooing appear from men. This type of permanent make-up gives the eyelashes a visible thickness to the eyelashes, the look - expressiveness, while maintaining the "effect of a washed, unmade face".
Relevant among the client's requests and kayal of the mucous membrane of the lower eyelid, and it is applied as black, white, as well as any decorative color.
Arrows and eyeliners
Eye tattoo in the form of an arrow (painting over the skin of the eyelids above the lash line) is a more decorative type of permanent eye makeup, which is most often performed in the form of a clear eyeliner, ending with an arrow of various shapes, lengths, widths and colors. Sometimes the eyeliner and arrow on the upper and lower eyelids are connected.
When choosing the shape of the arrow, masters should take into account that a clear arrow on the lower eyelid is not suitable for everyone - by drawing the lower eyelid in older clients, you can enhance the effect of fatigue and add shadows under the eyes, and the mucous membrane of the lower eyelid may look somewhat saggy.
For older clients in this area, it is preferable to use a “soft” arrow, as if drawn with a cosmetic pencil.
It is not necessary for older clients to perform a connection in the outer corner of the eye - in their case, the probability of pigment “spreading” and spot formation is strong. The same risks may arise when working on skin with severe rosacea on the eyelids.
Arrow with feathering or self-feathering
Arrows, complemented by shading, confidently take their place among the top procedures. At the same time, the color range of shading can be the most diverse and can be performed both in one tone and in several color transitions (combinations). This type of tattooing implies a gradient (“color stretching” from more saturated to less intense).
Shading looks great on both the upper and lower eyelids. Shading can also be connected in the corners of the eye. Often, there is no danger of pigment spreading. This type of tattoo is suitable for any eye shape, especially for aging eyes or eyes hidden by a heavy upper eyelid.
They also apply independent shading (without an arrow and eyeliner). In this case, shading options vary from classical technique to pastel technique.
Various types of "highlights" are also very popular (for example, highlighting the arrow, the so-called Franch or Fleshline, or highlighting the inner corner of the eye), as well as the full application of shadows. They can be an independent procedure, or they can be combined with permanent make-up of arrows or eyeliners.
A common reason for choosing an eye shadow procedure is the concealment of scars, for example, after blepharoplasty. Forms of shadow application differ depending on the structure of your client's eye or on the desired result (visual resizing, color enhancement, scar hiding, correction of unsuccessful tattoo).
