Inspiration: Insect Inspired Makeup
Worth a try!

Don't know where to get inspiration from? We suggest taking an example from British makeup artist Duran Jay, who does eye makeup in the colors of a variety of insects!
Nature is the best designer, and the incredible colors of butterflies, beetles, dragonflies and even spiders are proof of this. And if you think that insects are not the best source of inspiration for makeup artists, we hasten to convince you otherwise.
Meet Duran Jay, a makeup artist, visual artist, and Instagram influencer. A girl does her makeup, inspired by exotic insects of various colors. Gray-blue spiders, pink-purple dragonflies, turquoise-yellow Picasso bugs, yellow-black bees and butterflies of all kinds of colors - this is just the tip of the iceberg, because Duran’s account has more than 70 publications on this topic!
To replicate the colors of insects, the makeup artist uses a variety of techniques and products. Smokey eyes, shading of various directions and shapes, arrows on the upper and lower eyelids, dots, wavy lines, rhinestones and stones, false eyelashes and many other elements allow you to achieve the same resemblance to the original that the master strives for.
Duran Jay claims that he creates colorful makeup options for a reason, but to show people how beautiful insects are, and that they do not need to be afraid or disliked. Recently, the make-up artist publishes her works quite rarely, but for aesthetic pleasure, her account with dozens of bright and spectacular works is at your disposal.
