Post-acne problem: using peels to correct scars
What influences the choice of drug?

The choice of acne treatment method is influenced by the patient's age and gender, the severity and stage of the disease, the effectiveness of the initial treatment and its tolerability, as well as the patient's adherence to the recommended regimen and some associated factors.
At the medical supervision stage of acne treatment, it is necessary to establish a framework for changes in the treatment method, which includes concepts such as non-pharmacological intervention using various methods to increase efficacy and tolerability, as well as to optimize the outcome in the treatment of acne and scars.
Non-pharmacological intervention has been used for many years in the treatment of common acne, but recently the need for such interventions has increased, which has led to new concepts in the field of peeling, which open up new avenues for the treatment of acne and scars.
There are indications for conservative treatment, and although many acne can be effectively eliminated as a result of this treatment, resistant forms and post-acne are still a significant problem for dermatologists. New studies of post-acne have shown that scar prevention and treatment should be carried out in a number of cases when patients are undergoing treatment for acne, or immediately after the end of such treatment. The patient's predisposition to the formation of scars after acne can be judged by the type of inflammatory reaction that occurs during the treatment process. Early treatment helps to avoid gradual scarring of healing wounds from inflammatory acne.
