When choosing a peel, it is necessary to consider the dominant type of acne: comedonal, nodular, inflammatory, etc. Young skin responds better to different formulations than adult skin, so problems with pigmentation and texture should always be taken into account when assessing the expected result.

Combined peels. The use of a combination of several active ingredients with the sole purpose of complementing their effects has become the latest trend that has formed the basis of the latest concepts in the field of peeling. The depth of penetration and effectiveness of the peel are enhanced by the combination of its active ingredients.

Sequential peels. Used sequentially, peels have a synergistic effect, provided that their components are compatible. A common technique in which one peel is applied, after the end of its action, the next one is applied. Alternating peels. These involve using different active peeling agents alternately. These agents can also be used sequentially.
