Laser hair removal: evaluating the effectiveness of devices

Today, hair removal is one of the most popular procedures among visitors to beauty salons and medical centers. Experts offer several ways to permanently get rid of unwanted hair. However, the question arises whether all methods are effective and which ones are the safest.
Epilation is a method of removing unwanted hair for a long time by destroying the hair follicle. This effect can be obtained in only three ways: electroepilation, photoepilation with broadband light and laser epilation.
Laser epilation is considered the fastest and safest method. Alexandrite and neodymium lasers are suitable for this procedure. Each of them has a number of advantages and disadvantages, and, accordingly, its own indications for use.
