The proposed article will discuss the clinical manifestations of drug allergy, as well as their treatment and prevention.
Skin allergy is a hyperreaction of the skin upon contact with a certain substance to which the patient is sensitive and which is absolutely safe for those who do not have this sensitivity. In other words, it is a changed, increased sensitivity to substances foreign to the body. People prone to allergies can often have this reaction to several different substances. The reason for this is not the harmfulness or toxicity of the allergen, but the hyperactive response of the immune system to contact with it.
About 25% of patients who seek advice from allergists and dermatologists suffer from one or another allergic disease with skin manifestations. These diseases constitute a group of allergodermatoses and are observed in the majority of patients in the general structure of allergic pathology.
Allergens are the direct cause of allergies. These are substances that cause an allergic reaction when they get into a body sensitive to them, which leads to tissue and organ damage.
