Wet eyelid effect: how to replicate fashionable makeup?
And what products to use
Dewy eye makeup is still popular in 2020. What products are needed to create it and how to create a fashionable look step by step - we tell you below.
Wet makeup looks very impressive, so we couldn’t pass it up. We have already talked about how to achieve the effect of wet skin in facial makeup, and today we will dwell in more detail on fashionable eye makeup with wet eyelids.
A spectacular glossy shine always attracts attention: on the lips, skin or eyes. This is why this technique is so often used when creating photos for glossy magazines, advertising campaigns for fashion brands, and even blogs of famous makeup artists. You can create such a wet makeup in 2020 using different means, the main thing is to experiment!
Which product to choose for creating dewy makeup?
Eye polish or gloss. As the trend is gaining more and more momentum, cosmetic brands decided to keep up and began to produce special varnishes and eye glosses that provide that same glossy effect. Moreover, the products exist both in the classic transparent version and in different shades, for example, black, pink or silver. The advantage of such varnishes and glosses is that they have a non-sticky texture and do not flow at all.
Transparent cream. If you don’t have a special tool in your arsenal, it doesn’t matter. Use a clear face cream. Most often, gel-like creams for oily skin are suitable for this role. The cream will help create a natural effect of moist eyelids and will not stick and flow as much as the following beauty products from our list.
Lip balm. Another way to achieve the dewy look of 2020 is to apply a clear lip balm to your eyelids. It will provide the necessary glossy finish and create a moist film on the skin. Pay attention to balms with Vaseline in their composition - they will stay on the skin much longer.
Lip gloss. Of all the available products, it is lip gloss that will create the brightest glossy shine, but the sensations when wearing such makeup will not be the most pleasant, because glosses, as a rule, are very sticky in texture. If you still decide to give preference to them, apply the product in the thinnest layer on the moving eyelid, without going into the crease of the eyelid and above, to avoid running and unsightly streaks.

Step 3. Apply mustard-colored cream eyeshadow to the upper and lower eyelids, blending with a monochrome effect towards the eyebrow line and bridge of the nose.
