Hiding bags under the eyes is much more difficult than dark circles, since the makeup artist has to solve the problem not only with color, but also with texture.

Mario Dedivanovic

Makeup artist Kim Kardashian and, more recently, founder of his own cosmetics brand, Mario Dedivanovic, knows exactly how to remove bags under the eyes using makeup. In this case, the Makeup artist uses one of her favorite techniques – baking. With its help, your model or client's face will be perfect!

Apply concealer under the eyes in the shape of inverted triangles - this will highlight this area and make the eyes more expressive. It is best to blend the product with a damp sponge to achieve a silky effect. Don't worry if the coating looks thick enough.

The next step is applying loose powder. An important point - we do not use the usual brush, but the same wet sponge. This way the coating will be truly “baked”, smooth and perfectly matte, and there will be no trace of puffiness under the eyes.

Elena Krygina

The top makeup artist also recommends combating puffiness under the eyes by highlighting this area. Elena advises highlighting the under-eye area with a concealer several shades lighter than the skin.

Draw inverted triangles under the client's or model's eyes: move the brush from the inner corner to the outer corner, and then to the wings of the nose. Carefully blend the edges of the concealer. After this, the swelling area will be evenly highlighted and will not stand out in volume.

If a girl is about to be photographed, Elena recommends raising her chin higher so that the bags under her eyes are less noticeable in the pictures.

Lisa Eldridge

Makeup artist and blogger Lisa Eldridge covers up circles and bags under the eyes with concealer, but she first advises removing puffiness before applying makeup.

Lisa suggests freezing green tea in ice cube trays and then using the cubes by swiping them under your eyes. This method removes swelling, stimulates the skin and prepares it for the application of further decorative beauty products.

For this purpose, makeup artists also use patches for the skin around the eyes , especially if you work with clients and models on location, in a photo studio, or at home.
