But this procedure is not universal, and in special situations it can harm the patient's skin. We are talking about contraindications to chemical peels in the practice of a cosmetologist.

Chemical peels are one of the most popular procedures in dermatological and cosmetology practice, as they are quite simple to perform, have a short rehabilitation period and help to solve a fairly wide range of problems. To obtain effective and safe results from peeling, as in the case of other procedures, it is very important for a specialist to analyze the clinical picture, highlighting all the pros and cons. Let's analyze situations when chemical peeling is contraindicated or even harmful to the patient's skin.
