What is biohacking and how can we use it in skin care?
About one of the ways to improve the quality of life
New understanding of the molecular mechanisms of skin renewal, regeneration, and self-protection helps to better define the role of age-related deficits, changes in skin gene expression, and the role of peptide signaling or the microbiome.
What is biohacking and how can we use it in skin care?
Biohacking is based on the idea of extending human life by improving the functionality of the body. Early proponents of biohacking, most of whom live in Silicon Valley, sought to better understand the aging process and the body's molecular "weaknesses," hoping to "hack" them and make longer lives possible.
Under the general term "biohacking" you can find a whole range of ideas. In general, biohacking is looking for self-regulatory mechanisms that would allow aging to be controlled using the body's own potential with little outside help. Sleep, light, physical activity, food and meditation are the 5 basic principles of biohacking.
