Combinations of techniques in skin rejuvenation programs
As we age, our skin becomes less elastic, collagen production decreases, elasticity is lost, and wrinkles begin to appear. And that's when the miracle molecule hyaluronic acid comes to the rescue. HA is used in the manufacture of cosmetics for external use, injection, and for use in hardware skin rejuvenation programs.
Hyaluronic acid is an extremely valuable substance for our body, as it connects collagen and elastin fibers in the dermis, binds water particles, ensuring smooth skin, and also participates in the transport and distribution of water in tissues.
Hyaluronic acid determines the barrier and protective functions of the intercellular space. Inside the joints, it acts as a lubricant for the joint surfaces, and inside the eye, it helps normalize intraocular pressure.
A regular hyaluronic acid molecule is too large to penetrate through the pores of the skin. Its size is 75 microns, and the size of the skin micropores is about 40 microns. In such a situation, the acid molecule cannot penetrate the epidermal barrier. The only way to introduce them into the dermis is by injection, a deep puncture.
