However, in order not to make a mistake and not waste time and money in vain, I can recommend everyone who dreams of becoming a permanent makeup master to complete at least short-term courses "Visage in permanent makeup", which include a theoretical part and practice on models. And right are those who go to these courses in order to gain the necessary fundamental knowledge and test themselves for the necessary abilities for a permanent makeup master. In the future, upon completion of such training, even students with natural inclinations are advised to train themselves in drawing sketches of improved eyebrows on as many faces as possible in order to gain the necessary practice in finding the best options for permanent makeup sketches for each individual case.

Each of us, under certain circumstances, can individually show their artistic abilities, and sometimes their complete absence. Looking at some works in permanent make-up, you are surprised at the courage and adventurism of the masters, who cannot even be called masters. The most successful works in permanent make-up differ in that they not only improve the aesthetic perception of the face, but also look so natural that they do not attract the attention of others and are not noticed by them without a close look at the face.
A permanent make-up master has various tools at his disposal. First of all, these are pigments of various tones and shades. The color scheme of permanent makeup is the absolute responsibility of the master to the client. Just like a make-up artist, a permanent makeup master must be a good colorist, feel color subtly, be able to harmoniously fit it into a holistic image, take into account integrally hair color, skin color, and eye color on a subconscious level. A permanent makeup master must be able to look into the future and predict how the pigment will manifest itself in a given skin and how it will be perceived aesthetically on the face as a whole. As with regular make-up, when choosing a pigment, it is important to take into account the existing skin color of the client in the affected area. However, in permanent make-up, the master is faced with the need, when choosing a pigment, to take into account the change in shade and even color of permanent make-up in the future, in the process of “wearing” it.
Without harmony - nowhere
According to the statistics of practitioners who daily deal with the removal and correction of flaws in permanent makeup, 70% of calls are associated with unsuccessful permanent makeup of the eyebrows. And the reason for this lies in the fact that not all masters and clients understand that permanent makeup is a service that a master is called upon to perform, if not having the profession of a make-up artist, then possessing the corresponding natural abilities. Having studied the rules for building eyebrows, set out in make-up textbooks and various manuals, in practice, the master often encounters cases where this knowledge does not formally help. Eyebrows are the most artistic component of permanent makeup. With a mechanistic approach to drawing the shape of the eyebrows on asymmetrical faces (and such are the vast majority), it is impossible to achieve a satisfactory result in terms of harmony. To feel harmony is a gift from above.
When drawing a sketch of the future permanent makeup of the eyebrows on the face, not everyone can successfully compensate, as far as possible, the following types of asymmetry:
- asymmetry of the smoothness of the transition of the frontal bone to the temporal;
- asymmetry of the volume of the superciliary arches;
- asymmetry of the distances between the eyebrow and the eye;
-shift of the middle of the bridge of the nose relative to the middle of the distance between the eyes;
- different radii of the lines of transition of the bridge of the nose into the superciliary arch;
- the slope of the bridge of the nose relative to the central vertical line of the face.
Permanent make-up is the art of finding harmony in conditions of often noticeable asymmetrical arrangement of facial elements. In normal communication, people do not tend to pay attention to the natural asymmetry of the face. But when performing permanent makeup, when some facial features become more expressive, this asymmetry will either be compensated by a talented master, or will become even more pronounced if a person who is deprived of the skills necessary for this profession is engaged in permanent makeup.
