K - camouflage

Medical camouflage ( dermopigmentation ) is a method of correcting permanent or temporary aesthetic skin defects by means of shallow permanent make-up.

Medical camouflage is widely used, for example, for dyschromia (discoloration of the skin), scars, including after acne and postoperative, as well as vascular skin changes , such as rosacea and wine stains.

Camouflage of defects involves the introduction of a pigment matched to the color of the surrounding healthy skin. The main task of camouflage tattooing is the maximum approximation of the shade of the affected skin to its primary color. This allows you to hide scars, scars and stretch marks, make them less noticeable or more aesthetic, eliminate age spots, even out skin tone. The result is achieved in just a few procedures. Of course, it should be understood that camouflage cannot make a defect completely invisible, but it can smooth out its borders and color, making it less visible.

Indications for correction:

- restoration of nipple color and postoperative scarring of the areola of the nipples (one of the most popular areas for camouflage)

- correction of vitiligo;

- masking of superficial wrinkles;

- disguise of small chemical burns;

- masking of scars and scars (scars after acne, scars after liposuction, scars near the ears and in the scalp resulting from a facelift);

- masking stretch marks

Permanent make-up of vascular lips: before and after the procedure

Before the procedure, it is better to sign up for a preliminary consultation, during which the master will be able to examine the damaged area, invite a plastic surgeon for a joint discussion and offer appropriate training or an alternative way to solve this issue (for example, surgically or using collagen therapy, which helps to “lift” the skin in places formation of aesthetic defects). Sometimes, before tattooing scars and scars, resurfacing or laser procedures should be performed.

Among all the advantages of permanent camouflage, there are several main ones:

the cost of the procedure - in comparison with chemical peeling , grinding and other radical procedures, the price of applying camouflage is permanently more acceptable;

safety - it cannot be said that tattooing is a simple and absolutely safe process, because there is a risk of certain complications. This method of masking scars and scars does not damage the skin so much that there is no risk of hyperpigmentation, unlike the above procedures.

The camouflage procedure makes it possible not only to eliminate defects, but also to obtain a rejuvenating effect. Skin brightened by 1-2 tones under the eyebrows, above the upper lip or in the corners of the mouth gives the client an excellent result (rejuvenation). However, applying a camouflage tattoo is a very painstaking jewelry process, so only professional craftsmen should start these procedures.
