Lip beauty: features of permanent makeup in the perioral area

Permanent makeup and other methods of lip rejuvenation

Beautiful lips - juicy and bright‚ seductively plump - in a word, young. However, time is merciless‚ and the network of wrinkles around them immediately adds a couple of decades. What to do?

Eyes, as you know, are the mirror of the soul, while lips are considered a symbol of sensuality. Unfortunately, every year they lose their attractiveness: they lose their precious moisture, become thin, as if drawn in, like an inveterate skeptic. And they also fade - sometimes they just turn pale, sometimes they acquire a rather unpleasant bluish tint. Wrinkles deserve a separate discussion. Emotions show up first. These small and fine wrinkles are usually located in the corners of the mouth, as well as in the nasolabial folds. They can occur at the age of 20, and by the age of 30, as a rule, they are inevitable. It is impossible to prevent their appearance - except to forbid yourself to laugh or cry!

A little later, closer to the age of 40, the skin around the lips, the perioral area, ages. This is the "sphere of influence" of the circular muscle of the mouth, which works almost constantly. When it contracts, it pulls the skin along with it. Young elastic skin is quickly restored, with age - everything is different. Muscles relax, and traces of their contractions remain. So-called "monkey" wrinkles appear on the upper lip and chin. By the way, in smokers they appear much earlier and are more noticeable. After all, the usual puff also makes you “grimace”. The aging process accelerates sharply after 50 years. The skin around the lips and under the nose becomes flabby, dry, like parchment, covered with a thin network of wrinkles, loses elasticity and sags.

Plastic

If the client wants radical changes, she decides on lip plastic surgery. For example, if the upper lip is slightly elongated and ugly hangs over the lower one, a small operation will help. The surgeon will separate a thin strip of skin above the upper lip, create a new contour, and sew the edges with a thin cosmetic suture. The bandage will be removed in a week, and after ten days you can “try on” a new lipstick that will hide a small scar. By the way, you can disguise it with the help of a tattoo.

There are several proven ways to return the lips to their previous volume and correct the changed shape. First of all, this is contour plastic. The essence is simple: a small amount of a substance is injected under the skin with a syringe, which compensates for the missing volume. Most often, lips are enlarged with the help of preparations based on hyaluronic acid. Once under the skin, it acts like a miniature sponge: it collects a large number of water molecules around itself, due to which the lips increase in volume. The action of injections lasts from 6 to 15 months, then the drug is absorbed and gradually excreted from the body, the lips “lose weight”. An additional bonus of using hyaluronic acid is that it stimulates the synthesis of its own collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans.

Another way to correct the volume and shape of the lips is to use your own fat. The procedure is called "lipofilling". On the one hand, this is a good option, since adipose tissue is not “alien” for the body, which means that it is not rejected and does not cause allergies. But there is also a significant disadvantage: the fat does not fully take root, up to 60% of the adipose tissue is absorbed, and the lips quickly “deflate”.

We correct wrinkles

For the correction of wrinkles in the lip area, there are well-established methods - from the most radical to the most natural. The latter not only do not injure the skin, but are also an excellent prevention of further aging. First of all, it is, of course, biorevitalization. In this case, hyaluronic acid is also used, but more pure, that is, not chemically altered, in contrast to the one that is part of the preparations for contouring. It fills and smoothes wrinkles, restores the water balance of the skin, improves elasticity, and gives tone. But the main highlight of the technique is that after the first procedure, the intradermal matrix (environment) is restored, as a result of which skin cells begin to produce their own collagen and hyaluronic acid. The optimal result can be seen after three sessions of biorevitalization, carried out with a short break of two to three weeks. This is enough for the skin to receive the necessary amount of hyaluronic acid and work with it for five to six months. For the correction of mimic wrinkles located both above the upper lip and in the corners of the mouth, well-known injections of botulinum toxins are effective. Botulinum toxin blocks the transmission of nerve impulses to muscle fibers, and after several injections of the drug, the muscles relax and wrinkles quickly smooth out. The higher the dose of the administered drug, the faster the effect will come. As a rule, the first results are noticeable after a few days, and you can forget about wrinkles for the next six months!

The procedure, known as thermage, solves several global problems at once: it erases wrinkles, renews the skin and makes it work for its own good. Under the action of radiofrequency radiation, the collagen fibers that provide skin elasticity contract and thicken. Thanks to this, the result is visible immediately after the procedure. But that's not all - after the session, the process of neocollagenogenesis (the formation of new collagen) begins in the skin, which lasts not one or two months, but up to six months or longer. The effect of the procedure is expected for several years. Its only disadvantage is the price, which is equivalent to the cost of a full-fledged plastic surgery.

It takes a certain amount of courage to give wrinkles a single but devastating blow. Otherwise, how to decide on such a radical procedure as phenol peeling? Unlike superficial and median, it acts at the level of the dermis. Basically a second degree chemical burn. But this is the only technique that copes with the deepest age-related wrinkles, including those in the perioral region. In addition, today phenol peeling is not at all the same as before. The drugs of the past generation were very aggressive, and the procedure itself was equated to a full-fledged operation with all the necessary attributes: hospital stay, general anesthesia, monitoring of the heart, liver and kidneys. What about rehabilitation? To see a solid burn instead of a face is not a sight for the faint of heart. Modern phenol peeling is carried out in the cosmetologist's office, it does not require general anesthesia, even if the specialist uses the highest concentrations of drugs. This is achieved thanks to new methods of neutralization and helps to avoid visible skin damage, erythema and severe peeling during the rehabilitation period. The result will be visible in a week. It must be remembered that there are a number of contraindications for phenol peeling, for example, diseases of the kidneys, liver or cardiovascular system.

Features of the tattoo of the perioral zone

If the lips are not only thin, but also pale, permanent makeup or tattooing will help. The easiest option is to outline the outline, simulating a pencil line. True, it works if the lips themselves are quite bright. By the way, to draw a perfect line on the skin covered with wrinkles is a job that requires jewelry precision. The task of the master is to keep the contour even, even if you smile or laugh. The shading method is used to paint over the lips completely. Here you need a special skill. Firstly, with age, transverse wrinkles appear on the lips, which should be painted over with special care. Secondly, the color scheme is of great importance. Bright, flashy shades are completely inappropriate, therefore, natural tones of pink or caramel are recommended. It is worth remembering that aging skin is thinner, and any pigment on it will look brighter.
