Vascular pathologies of the skin: methods of correction of couperosis
Prevention of couperosis and skin care rules
Treatment of couperosis is a complex therapeutic process that involves both systemic and local therapy. Knowing all the causative factors makes it easier to deal with the problem of rosacea.
Couperosis is not a dermatological, but a commonly accepted term, which refers to redness of the skin of the face and the appearance of dilated small vessels, mainly in the area of the nose, cheekbones and cheeks. Couperosis is one of the "steps" of development, one of the manifestations of the disease called rosacea - pink acne.
At the heart of this problem are failures in the complex biochemical processes of the cells of the vascular wall. Allergic reactions are actively involved in the course of this process, since the main component of allergy (histamine) plays not the least role in the pathogenesis of couperosis. Histologically, there is a change in the structure of the vascular endothelium, the possibility of excessive leakage of plasma into the surrounding tissues (skin edema is also characteristic of couperosis).
The reasons for this problem have not yet been fully understood. The most relevant today is the theory of angiotrophoneurosis: a violation of the innervation of blood vessels leads to their persistent expansion, slowing of blood flow, the release of blood serum from blood vessels in the tissue and the appearance of swelling and inflammatory changes in them.
