Today, a lot of attention in publications is paid to creams, masks, shampoos with special components that outwardly maintain the normal condition of the upper layers of the skin, prevent hair loss, and strengthen nails. And those substances that provide nourishment to the skin and its appendages from the inside receive very little attention. But it is obvious that the health of the skin, which is part of the human body, is closely related to nutrition and general health.

Deterioration of the condition of the skin, its rapid aging or the development of skin diseases can be provoked by a lack or excess of nutrition, an imbalance of individual food components, and other nutritional factors. Many diseases of the digestive, endocrine, immune, nervous, circulatory systems, which are accompanied by metabolic disorders, are often manifested by changes in the skin. Attempts to "sit" on a diet also cause great harm to her. After all, any diet is a restriction, and sometimes exclusion from the diet of nutrients (nutrients) important for the skin. A long-term deficiency of at least one nutrient can lead to disturbances in the functioning of the body, which will significantly harm both the skin and health in general. This especially applies to proteins, fats and carbohydrates - the main components of food that provide all vital functions, provide energy without which the human body cannot live, are the main source of vitamins, minerals, organic acids, antioxidants and many other necessary substances.
