The method of using the regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties of plasma is more than 100 years old, but the research and search for the ideal plasma continues to this day. The progenitor of plasma therapy can be considered autohemotherapy, which involves the intramuscular injection of a small amount of blood to stimulate the immune response. Like any cosmetology procedure, plasma therapy has its indications, that is, it can help in solving certain problems.
Indications for plasma therapy
- Anti-age therapy: fine wrinkles, loss of elasticity, photoaging, hyperpigmentation.
- Treatment of acne: grade I-II acne, post-acnetic stagnant spots, stimulation of the immune function of the skin.
- Trichology: alopecia of various etiologies, hair thinning and aging, seborrheic dermatitis.
- Treatment and prevention of scars: preparation for laser grinding, preparation for plastic surgery.
Blood plasma consists of water in which proteins (7-8% of plasma mass) and other organic and mineral compounds are dissolved.
