Plasmolifting: theory and practice of application
Plasma lifting technology in the practice of a cosmetologist

Plasmalifting technology is successfully used in aesthetic medicine as an independent method and in combination with other methods. Let's understand the theory and practice of plasma lifting.
The history of the issue of the use of autologous blood is interesting and extremely useful for a practicing physician. Swedish doctors Grafstrom and Elfstrom are considered to be the founders of injections into the body of one's own blood. In 1898, in the USA, for the first time in the world, they performed injections of autologous blood in a saline solution for pneumonia and tuberculosis.
In 1905, the German surgeon August Beer established that the patient's own blood, injected into his thigh, is something similar to an irritant for the body and allows to accelerate the healing of fractures. Subsequently, a German surgeon used injections of autologous blood in tissue for various pathological conditions.
The next stage in the development of methods using autologous blood was the use of plasma from a part of blood free of erythrocytes and rich in platelets. The reason for the use of platelet-rich autoplasma was the discovery of the fact that platelets contain protein factors (PRP-factors), which initiate the regenerative cellular process.
The effect of using the plasma lifting technology largely depends on the presence of receptors in the tissues for PRP factors. It is this fact that explains the invariance of the biological response of tissues to the introduction of plasma containing platelets.
