Recently, men's skin care programs have become one of the noticeable trends in the beauty industry. New brands appear every day, and well-known companies release care lines designed exclusively for men.
The phrase "designed specifically for men's skin" turned out to be a successful marketing strategy, but the question remains: do men really need separate skin care products or are they just marketing gimmicks?

Of course, it would be wrong to ignore the differences between male and female skin, which have been confirmed by numerous studies by dermatologists in recent years. However, this does not mean that men necessarily need separate skin care products to create the right routine.
What is different about men's skin?
As a rule, it is thicker and denser than in women, about 25%. This difference is mainly due to androgens, male sex hormones, which make the dermis denser and more voluminous. As a result, men's skin often looks a little rougher, but at the same time more elastic and smooth.
