How acne affects the mental health of adolescents
Teen acne and depression are two common and interrelated phenomena that can significantly affect the physical and mental well-being of teenagers. Acne, also known as acne, is a fairly common phenomenon that often occurs specifically during adolescent development.

Acne is a disease of the sebaceous glands of the skin, the manifestations of which we can observe in the form of rashes, inflammation and redness on the face, back and other parts of the body. Depression, on the other hand, is a serious mental disorder characterised by a constant feeling of sadness, loss of interest in life and mood changes and deterioration.

However, acne does not only affect adolescents physically, but can also have psychological consequences. The appearance of acne on the face and other visible parts of the body can cause shame, low self-esteem and social isolation in adolescents. This can lead to depression, which increases negative emotions and feelings of helplessness.
