Late acne: dermatocosmetological tactics of patient management
Integration of classical dermatological correction and the latest achievements of cosmeceuticals

Acne in adolescence is a disease that must be diagnosed in a timely manner and treated correctly. However, many patients mistakenly believe that it is enough to cross a certain age limit, "outgrow", so to speak, and the disease will go away by itself.
Acne, or acne, belongs to one of the most common skin diseases and is found in 85% of people aged 12 to 25 years. In 80% of patients, it remains involuntarily until the age of 18-20, however, according to numerous studies, in 20% of patients, the involution is slower, and in 5% of patients, the disease does not regress even in adulthood.
The progressive course of acne, tolerance to the current therapy, cause severe inflammatory processes in the dermis and epidermis with the formation of scars and dyschromias. The multicomponent nature of the disease, the variety of forms, provoking factors and mechanisms of appearance complicate therapy and lead to the formation of a persistent negative dominant: all means have been tried, nothing helps.
In most cases, patients with late acne have a mild to moderate form of the disease, with a small number of rashes. Papular and papulo-pustular elements predominate, less often nodular-cystic forms of acne.
