WULOP: the Ukrainian team became the world champion in permanent makeup

From 5 to 8 November 2020, Istanbul hosted a global event in the world of permanent makeup - the World Championship of Permanent Makeup and the World Universal League of Permanent Make-up ( WULOP ) Congress.

The championship consisted of two stages: the semi-finals, which were held in different countries that announced their participation, and the final, where the strongest competed (after all, only by winning the semi-finals in their country, the masters could go to the final). Even the pandemic could not disrupt the plans of the organizers: in the final of the championship, teams of the best masters from 10 countries of the world fought for the title of the strongest. It was the real Olympic Games in permanent make-up!

The competition was held in 4 categories:

• Arrow with shading;
• Eyebrow shading;
• Lips in ombre technique;
• Microblading

Marina Sidorenko became the organizer of the semi-final in Ukraine, she also took the winning team to the final in Turkey. The team from Ukraine included: Anna Valerskaya - nomination "Arrow with shading", Angelina Slatvinskaya - nomination "Lips in ombre technique", Katerina Antropova - nomination "Eyebrow shading" and Katerina Musledinova - nomination Microblading.

At the finals in Istanbul, Angelina Slatvinskaya won first place in her nomination, becoming the best master in the world, Anna Valerskaya took silver for performing an arrow with shading, and in the overall team standings, Ukraine took first place and won the title of world champion in permanent makeup. Valuable rewards and, most importantly, worldwide fame awaited the winners of the championship. In addition to valuable prizes from sponsors, the Ukrainian team received a cash reward of 10,000 € for the next WULOP.

On November 6-7, a Congress for Micropigmentation Specialists was held, at which Nadezhda Dmitrieva from Ukraine made a presentation, presenting her author's Nud blash lips technique, as well as Yulianna Druzhinina with the Elite Gradient technique.

On November 8, NON-STOP master classes were held by permanent makeup experts, where representatives of the Ukrainian delegation Olga Bulgakova and Andriana Pushchak acted as speakers. This enchanting event ended with a grand gala dinner!

The next World Universal League of Permanent Make-up will be held in October 2021 in Antalya, the semi-final in Kyiv is scheduled for September, dates will be agreed soon.
