The permanent makeup procedure begins even before the client lays down on the couch with the master. Experienced professionals know that the skin can prevent the master from working, and the client can worsen the color or accelerate its discoloration. A competent master knows how to carry out the procedure as painlessly as possible and keep the result longer, even when working with very capricious and complex skin. Let's talk about recommendations: what can and cannot be done to the client before the permanent makeup procedure and how the master can work with problem skin in different areas of the face.
What type of skin is considered problematic?
Many refer to problematic skin such phenomena as slight peeling, sebaceous discharge, a feeling of tightness and even wrinkles. Yes, these factors can be the source of problematic skin, but it is worth understanding more serious manifestations.
What type of skin is considered problematic? Absolutely any kind of epidermis can become problematic - both dry and oily. This type is the surface of the skin, on which there are such imperfections as:
- Inflammatory rashes - these can be both acne and acne or black dots.
- Couperose - implies the appearance of a pronounced vascular network and asterisks
- Active pigmentation - the appearance of age spots in a volumetric quantity (more than 50% of the surface of the skin of the face).
- Increased greasiness of the skin - the appearance of oily sheen in large volumes.
- Excessive dryness of the skin - the appearance of a large number of peeling and even open wounds.
- Redness and allergic manifestations.
- Eczema and dermatosis.
- An unhealthy complexion is an excessively yellow, dull or pale skin tone.
- Early signs of aging - manifests itself in the form of skin aging and deep wrinkles.
- Fungus - for example, diseases such as lichen or favus.
The main causes of problematic skin are factors such as:
- Hormonal failure - this occurs due to a surge or vice versa, a lack of hormones. Most often, such failures are observed in adolescence, as well as during pregnancy. Usually, girls with thyroid disorders and taking special medications have problematic skin.
- Stress is the culprit of all ailments of the body. It is stress that affects our skin in the first place. Failure of the nervous system instantly sends a signal to the skin of the face, thereby causing many imperfections on it, including in the form of rashes. This problem is faced by those who are regularly depressed, irritated and nervous breakdown.
- Temperature violation. Hypothermia or overheating can be the causes of problem skin. For example, during hypothermia, the skin most often faces such a problem as rosacea or inflammatory processes. But with overheating and abuse of UV rays of the sun, you can get premature aging of the skin. Also, an excess of ultraviolet radiation affects the dryness and flaking of the skin.
- Medications are common medicines. Unfortunately, many drugs have side effects that affect the skin of our face. These drugs include antibiotics, contraceptives, hormonal drugs, and even aspirin.
- Bad habits are one of the reasons you control yourself. Since childhood, we have been told about the dangers of alcohol and tobacco products. And this is no accident. Nicotine and alcohol cause acne, pimples and significantly worsen skin tone and generally destroy the entire body from the inside.
- Wrong skin care. Incorrectly selected care products can play a cruel joke on the condition of the epidermis. Many women completely ignore the process of skin care, replacing it with a regular wash. Rashes can appear due to poorly cleansed skin, for example, if you did not wash off your makeup at night. And also because of the use of low-quality cosmetic products with violation of storage rules and expired shelf life.
- Wrong nutrition. One of the most common causes of problematic skin. Wrong diet, lack of vitamins and minerals, the abuse of fatty, salty and spicy foods - all this affects the work of the digestive tract. Disturbed work of the stomach can cause not only problems on the skin, but also a disease such as obesity.
3 must-have tips for any type of procedure
Care. Any cosmetology procedure (including permanent makeup) begins at the very minute when the client has signed up for a specialist. Even if the procedure is scheduled for a delayed time, for example, after 2 weeks, it is recommended to take care of the skin of the face as much as possible, and especially for the area where permanent makeup is planned. A day before the procedure, micropigmentation specialists advise not to drink tea, coffee and not to drink alcohol.
Physical downloads. Before the procedure, it is recommended to avoid physical activity. Sleep well on the day of the procedure.
Insolation. Avoid sunlight. A month before the procedures and a month later, you should not sunbathe or be in direct sunlight. If the client has a vacation ahead of them, it's best to reschedule the appointment later - or strongly recommend that they stock up on SPF sunscreen.
"Like clockwork "
This phrase best describes a skin treatment that gets the job done. A soft, hydrated epidermis without peeling with fine pores is a short description of the ideal surface for permanent makeup. And this is rare. Masters have to work with different types of skin: oily and porous, dry and vascular, problematic and flaky. It is difficult to work with such skin: you have to fight for the perfect coloring.
What skin is the hardest to work with?
In the area of the eyebrows. Oily skin, enlarged pores, peeling, blackheads - this is skin with the so-called high epidermis. With such a surface, you need to work extremely delicately in order to make a perfect color and keep the pigment longer.
In the area of the lips. If the client injected preparations with hyaluronic acid into the lips, then the procedure can be carried out only after 60 days. It is not difficult to work with hyaluron: it is much more difficult to work with overdried skin. Therefore, from the moment of registration for the procedure, it is necessary to give the client a recommendation to constantly moisturize the lips.
In the area of the eyelids. Eyelid shading is the most difficult procedure in permanent makeup. The most difficult thing is to work with vascular skin - even the most delicate procedure injures the capillaries: they become filled with blood and form small hematomas. A good master will cope with both dry skin and enlarged pores. But a literate person knows: in order for the client to leave the salon without pain, with a perfectly beautiful paint, it is important to properly prepare the skin for the procedure.
