P - Pigments
What is the difference between tattoo pigments? Pigments are divided according to several factors.
The first is the foundation. It always includes water and alcohol. The division goes on the last component. The pigment may include either sorbitol or glycerin. The former are called liquid, the latter are cream. And also there are gel ones, which are similar in consistency to cream ones. The second is ease of use. Liquid, judging by the reviews, are more difficult to work with, as they are splashed, respectively, and the pigment consumption is higher than that of gel or cream ones. But there are also positive reviews. It depends on what technique the master works in. But apparently, those who work with denser pigments feel “happier”, they penetrate the skin better and provide a longer lasting effect of the procedure.
A high-quality pigment for permanent lip tattooing always has iron oxide in its composition. It is designed to avoid the main side effect of the procedure - changing the color of the lip contour into an undesirable range, or rather, blackening or blue. Also, a common problem is redness of the eyebrows. The red tint in brown is inherent in low-quality pigments. And in order to avoid such consequences, an olive stabilizer is added to high-quality pigments for eyebrow tattooing. It is necessary to neutralize the red color, so that the eyebrows acquire a natural shade.
Coming to the eyelid tattoo procedure, many clients want to see an exceptionally rich black color on their eyes. This can be achieved by mixing the three primary colors (blue, red, yellow) in equal proportions. Even with a slight deviation from this formula, there will be other shades. And never mix pigments from different manufacturers. Due to their different manufacture, it is very difficult to predict the chemical reaction and the final color of the tattoo. When choosing a low-quality tattoo pigment, you run the risk of its high allergenicity or toxicity. It should be mentioned that tattoo pigments must pass all clinical studies and receive quality certificates - this will speak of their safety and effectiveness.
And remember, if there are questions about the quality of the service provided for applying a permanent tattoo, the client will primarily blame the master, and not the pigment manufacturer.
