Makeup after 40 years

Before applying makeup for women over 40, thoroughly moisturize the skin, for example, with a moisturizing serum or makeup base. If your skin is dry, never apply cosmetics without first moisturizing and protecting!

How to properly apply makeup after 40 that makes you look younger? At this age, the skin should be radiant, therefore, the use of foundation is inevitable. But their choice should be as careful as possible - textures that are too dense will only emphasize wrinkles and folds, so preference should be given to light, weightless products that are easily distributed over the skin.

You need to highlight your eyes very carefully - if there is a network of wrinkles around them, then using eye shadow in dark, rich shades will add several years of age and make the makeup itself sloppy. You will have to abandon liner arrows if the eyelid is flabby, there are a lot of folds and wrinkles: the arrow will only emphasize the problems. Therefore, we use a pencil and apply it vaguely, shading it.

For lip makeup, we choose natural colors, classic red or wine shades. The condition of the eyebrows can be used to judge not only age, but also how a person takes care of himself. If the color of the eyebrows has become dull, fill in the eyebrows with a pencil or eye shadow.

Anti-aging makeup for 50 years and older

At 50 years old, a woman comes to a makeup artist not so much for beauty, but for the feeling of youth! Therefore, the primary task of any makeup artist is to give a woman a well-groomed and more youthful look. We tell you how to do anti-aging makeup for ladies over 50.

Before applying makeup, be sure to moisturize your face with cream. If possible, use a tightening serum. For skin toning, very light foundations with reflective particles (fluids) with moisturizing components are best suited. It’s good if there are two shades: the main one - like the skin tone and the second - a tone or half a tone lighter - then the skin will look younger. We tint the central part of the face, the supra-zygomatic and interbrow areas with a lighter shade.

As for the area under the eyes, which is problematic, there is no need to radically hide wrinkles and bruises; you should use the corrector minimally, and do not bring it close to the lower eyelid. With age, the skin loses not only elasticity, but also color, so when choosing a foundation, you should avoid olive and brown shades. It is better to use a tone with a pink undertone; a peach color is also ideal. Sometimes adult skin has an earthy tint - in this case, the light tone will be noticeable, so it is worth taking a purple or pink base. If there is enough base, you can completely abandon the tone so that it does not settle in wrinkles.

We don’t use powder, it emphasizes folds and wrinkles, but we use absorbent wipes. Blush will help restore the glow of youth to your face. Their color should be natural pink. Pressed blush stands out too much on mature skin, so we use bold blush. They should be applied with a brush or fingertips.

For anti-aging eye makeup, it is preferable to take delicate brown, beige-pink or clear cool shades. In eye makeup, shimmering eyeshadow and pearlescent powder are either not used, as they accumulate in wrinkles and emphasize sagging skin, or they are used above the lash line along the upper eyelid and under the eyebrow.

To make your face expressive, paint your eyelashes with brown mascara, it will gently increase their volume; There should be less mascara on the lower eyelashes. We use brown eyeliner: black mascara and pencil on mature skin look too provocative and age. The exception is hot brunettes.

Eyebrows become thinner with age and their tips droop. Therefore, the eyebrow line needs to be raised, but not plucked too thinly: this will add depression to the image. Wider eyebrows will give you a more youthful appearance. We highlight the eyebrows dimly, as dark shades visually age.

Treat the lip contour area with a corrector pencil and cover it with powder. Then we outline and shade the contour of the lips and lips with a pencil: its waxy texture will prevent lipstick from flowing into the wrinkles around the mouth. The pencil should have a natural shade. Next, apply lipstick to your lips, choosing lighter shades. We do not use dry lipstick, very oily lipstick or lip gloss.
