Interview with a star
2019-07-12

Olesya Fattakhova is already well known to the viewer. The talented actress has a good filmography with bright roles in TV series and films: “Melody for Two Voices”, “A Simple Life”, “Bring Back My Love” and many others.
The article was first published in Makeup&YOU Professional magazine.
Olesya loves flowers and learning new things. She loves working with different makeup artists because everyone sees her differently. About this and much more in our interview. As an actress, you often have to transform yourself. Each time there are probably different emotions. What emotions did you have after filming for our magazine? Did you feel comfortable wearing this look? I love everything new, I really love the bright and unusual, loud and attention-grabbing. And this image met all these criteria! At the same time, it was a little strange, or something. I am an actress, it is important for me to understand who I embody, what kind of character I am. And during the photo shoot, I imagined that I was a golden rooster bird, sometimes arrogant, knowing that the fate of nations depended on my decision! And sometimes - a wise, silent Pegasus, calling into a world closed from prying eyes. When was the first time in your life that you realized that you wanted to become an actress? How did this manifest itself? In seventh grade, I fell in love with an actor from TV. The multi-part feature film “Azazel” was broadcast on Channel One, and Ilya Noskov played the main male role. With dimples, blue eyes and incredibly handsome. And I fell in love with him so much that I decided to become his wife. At night I thought through a banana plan to win his heart, and it was obvious to me that it was necessary to equalize the statuses - at least for me to become famous. There were three options in my head: a musician (at that time I was seriously studying music), a singer and an actress. I had no idea how to become a famous musician. A singer? It seemed to me only through the bed. All that's left is acting. But my choice turned out to be not at all random, but very natural! When I was two and a half years old and had chickenpox, a characteristic pimple appeared above my upper lip. And I constantly tore it off. It seemed to me that it had already healed, and I wanted to get rid of the crust as quickly as possible. And my mother told me: “Olesechka, don’t touch me! Well, the scar will remain! As you grow up, what if you want to become an actress? You'll need a face!" And I removed my hands. By the way, the same trick worked when I was ten and I had to put on a plate and straighten my teeth.

Theater or cinema? Which of these worlds is closest to you and what fascinates you about each? And is there any desire to return to the music that you have been actively involved in since childhood? Theater attracts with its obscurity and live spectators, cinema has already been studied quite well by me, but there is still room for improvement and something to dream about. These are two completely different worlds! From the point of view of the existence of an actor. In a movie you can act with the trembling of your eyelashes, but in the theater no one will notice it! For several years now I have been quietly nurturing my desire to play on stage. I think that as soon as the fire of desire flares up, an interesting offer will immediately arrive! But I want to return to music, but in a different capacity! I still want to sing, just like when I was a child! And I do it. You filmed in different countries - both in Turkey and China. Do you travel a lot in general? Do you have a favorite country? Where would you like to visit? I love traveling! And I do this to the best of my ability! Favorite country is probably Italy! I also dream of visiting it – the trip is already planned for October. I really hope that everything will happen for the best. What is your most memorable role and why? There is no such thing. I love them all because my roles are like my children. I bear them in the preparatory period, I give birth to them on set, I fight for them, argue and swear, I think about them after filming is over. Each role contains a piece of me, my life experience, my thoughts, feelings and experiences. I associate each heroine with myself, bring her as close as possible to myself, at the same time I spy on someone else’s female image, for example, friends, colleagues, and endow my heroine with someone else’s colors. With each of my paintings I tell a story and want to convey to the viewer simple and very important truths. What extreme/funny/long shoot was your most memorable and why? Sometimes you read the script and understand: you see everything that is written with your inner gaze, you understand how to act, the picture is drawn and everything comes together! But there are a few scenes that you would gladly delete from the script! They're getting out. You don't understand how to approach them. They scare you! One of these situations happened to me on the set of the multi-part feature film “Alien Life” directed by Oleg Fomin. My heroine is a professional actress, her husband is killed in the Great Patriotic War, and a stranger comes to the house with the documents of the murdered husband, whom my heroine’s son mistakes for his father. But everything would have been fine, only this very strange man - Seryozha (performed by the artist Ilya Malakov) - lost heart and committed a forgery. Now, according to documents, he is my husband. Furious, I kick the impostor out of the house. The son is in tears. A mother’s heart can’t stand it... And Serezha was already tied up by the police and taken to the police station almost before our eyes. I am for documents... And here it is, the scene: according to the plot, the heroine bursts into the office, falls to her knees, laments, begs and rescues her “husband” from the clutches of the police. How to play? It’s not clear... One thing is clear: you need to do this in such a way that the partners are stunned and believe. Rehearsal. We go through the text, through the mise-en-scène. The director makes adjustments. Getting ready to shoot. Make-up artists-costumers powder, “polish”, correct. Command: “Camera! Motor!" I quietly ask the director: “Oleg Borisych, are we really crying?” And he told me: “If you can... And don’t forget what we agreed on! Let's start! I break into the office, fall to my knees in front of Malakov, sob crocodile tears... But I answer the policeman’s questions clearly and with dignity! Again I lament, kiss, ask for forgiveness from the “beloved husband,” and at that moment when the policeman asks if it was my ring that was found on the “husband,” I smack him in the face: “What, did you want to drink it away?” And Ilya looks at me with round eyes: “What are you doing, Lyubash?” The scene turned out great. Unexpected. Bright. One of my favorites. After the command: “Stop!” – the whole group laughed, and we couldn’t calm down for a very long time! It was as if something magnificent had descended on us.
In one of your interviews, you said that you never turned down roles. Among your roles, was there any that was the least successful? Conversely, who would you dream of playing? Which roles are closer to you - comedic or dramatic? I used to be terribly afraid of comedy roles. It seemed to me that I was a dramatic artist - and that’s all! But no. As I get older, I am gaining more and more momentum in the comedy genre. This is true. There is more and more lightness, irresponsibility, humor, mischief... But there are no roles that “don’t work.” There are directors with whom we do not find a common language. It happens. But these are special cases and very rare. I am very lucky to have people in this profession! But I don’t have any dreams of playing someone specific. I have a dream to play a leading role in a musical comedy! It's true! If you were offered a love scene with any Hollywood actor, who would it be? Leonardo DiCaprio. Well, I love him. From an early age! And with Til Schweiger. After all, he is also considered Hollywood, despite the fact that he is currently filming in Germany. Watch your figure? Healthy eating, gym? Or do you not limit yourself in anything? It depends. There are days of relaxation and allowing yourself everything and in any quantity. There are days of strict diet and intense training! On camera and on stage, do you work with one proven makeup artist/makeup artist or with different ones? Always with different ones. And always with very good ones! I like that makeup artists change, because each person sees me differently. Everyone has some new skills for me, and I'm learning them! I look in the mirror when they are doing my makeup, and then, if necessary, I try to repeat it. And that's cool! Do you often wear makeup in everyday life? What is always in your makeup bag? I wear makeup often. And I love this business, and the status obliges me. The all-time bestseller in the cosmetic bag is the Yves Saint Laurent touche eclat under-eye corrector. If necessary, they can be almost completely made up! MAC eye shadows and brushes The NAKED urban decay collection was a revelation for me this year! One palette has everything! Well, except for the mascara. And I started using waterproof mascara, although I never liked it! And this is the merit of Garnier micellar water for removing waterproof cosmetics. I rarely use lipsticks, but I bought a palette with different shades of red and pink flowers. Also Yves Saint Laurent. Sometimes you really need it! For auditions, for example. What do you think a real woman should be like? A woman should be herself. Only under this condition can she be real.
Are you interested in astrology, study English, work actively... How do you manage to find time for everything? Do you know what my problem is, which is also my joy? I can't do just one thing! I'm getting bored and hard. By surrounding myself with many tasks, I easily switch from one to another, concentrate, complete and move on. I'm so interested. In this mode, I feel a lot of energy and complete more tasks. If not for acting, what would you have become? Don't know. Perhaps a landscape designer, florist. I love flowers. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a flower girl, like in the play Pygmalion. Or maybe a motivational coach. I really like psychology and everything connected with it, I like to teach and inspire! Is daughter Masha proud of her star mother? Not trying to follow in your footsteps? You don’t get to see each other often, but how do you spend your free time? Mashulya is proud, yes. Shows off to classmates. She doesn’t want to become an actress, but she’ll make a great organizer – a director or producer, if it’s in a movie. She also now has a music school, so she will decide where she should go. And when we meet, we chat. A lot of. On different topics. We go shopping. We're going to visit. We eat in cafes. Let's make music! And we do our homework. Everything is like everyone else. And this is happiness!Read also
