Makeup for red-haired girls: what is important to consider?

Red-haired beasts always attract attention with their brightness, especially if the red color is natural. They belong to the autumn or spring color type, so first, let's understand their main characteristics.

Characteristics of color types

Owners of golden and red hair have a warm skin tone, as does their hair, since the melanin that the body produces is warm everywhere. The skin is most often very light, almost porcelain. Red-haired girls often have increased skin pigmentation in the form of freckles.

Often, redheads have a tendency to redden – sometimes evenly, and sometimes in patches. Considering that they often have sensitive skin and closely located blood vessels, in this case it is advisable for a makeup artist to use hypoallergenic cosmetics or cosmetics for sensitive skin.

When making makeup, always adhere to this principle: the color scheme should match the color type. Autumn color type can be bright, contrasting warm or pale, muted warm. Therefore, when choosing the colors of eye shadows and lipsticks, pay attention to these shades.

The range of red colors can range from light red blonde to dark red chestnut. When choosing a color scheme for makeup, apply sheets of colored paper or pieces of fabric to the girl’s face.

In the case of a pale, muted, non-contrasting warm (spring) color type, girls will go for nude shades - beige, salmon, light orange, light green. And for those with a bright contrasting color type, fiery red, red, marsh, brown, and emerald shades are best suited.

Face makeup

It is better to apply foundation on a base selected for your skin type. Pay attention to the functional features of the databases.

It is better to choose nude lipsticks for clients with light red hair, while the whole range of warm colors will suit dark ones.
