Face makeup

A guarantee of beautiful, flawless and youthful-looking skin is a properly selected foundation, this is what you can’t skimp on!

The foundation should be liquid, light, preferably with a lifting effect, ideally matching the color.

As we age, the skin accumulates gray pigment. Cool tones (pink, beige) can make the face look tired, so choose shades with yellowish (if there are red blood vessels) and orange undertones (if the skin has a grayish tint or pigmentation).

It is better to avoid dense tones altogether, as they will emphasize the structure of mature skin, and we have absolutely no need for this.

Rule two is to use concealer delicately: it should be liquid and have a reflective effect. Under no circumstances apply concealer to the crow's feet area to avoid emphasizing the expression lines. For this area, you can only use a moisturizer that will not dry out and emphasize wrinkles, but will reflect and soften them.

The same can be said about powder - too much of it will highlight all the unevenness on your face!

I’m not against a light setting with translucent powder in a very small amount (if you avoid the area around the eyes), but carrying a powder compact in your purse and powdering your nose every hour is not an option for women over 40! This leads to a layer of makeup on the skin, so by the evening the visibility of fine wrinkles will noticeably increase.

If a woman has combination or oily skin, advise her to go over the T-zone with a clean brush without powder: the shine will disappear, and the makeup will remain fresh.

Highlighter and blush with a creamy texture (not powdery!) will make your skin radiant and fresh.

Eye makeup

For eye makeup, use shadows in soft tones in natural and neutral tones. Give preference to sand, peach, cream and beige shades, and it is better if they have a soft satin sheen, since pearlescent shadows can highlight skin imperfections, while matte ones can age you.

It is better to replace black eyeliner with dark blue, purple or smoky gray.

Try to make your eyebrows expressive with a pencil or shadow, but not too dark. Thick dark eyebrows, as well as too thin ones, make the face look older.

Lip makeup

Lips are the center of sexual attraction. Avoid choosing shades that are too pale or too bright. It is better to choose colors that are close to natural - peach, apricot, pink or beige-pink shades.
