Today, the market offers products such as cream blush, cream concealer, cream eye shadow, brow pomade and much more. Creamy cosmetics are made from oils and waxes; they may also contain antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, and moisturizing components that nourish the skin well.
Creamy textures are quite light. They are often used to create natural looks and makeup in the nude style, when contouring the oval and details of the face. Such products are great for dry skin - they smooth out unevenness, flaking, and moisturize. Also, creamy products are well suited for aging makeup, as they do not emphasize wrinkles and folds.
Cream blush
Cream blush is a versatile product. They can be used as lipstick and even as eye shadow. It is very important to consider your skin tone when choosing. If the skin has a cool light pigment, it is better to choose the color of a fawn rose; if warm, coral tones are preferable. For skin with yellowish pigment, choose beige shades; for olive skin, choose plum and berry shades.
Apply blush to prepared skin. First we use foundation, contour the face, and then apply blush. It is best to apply them with your fingertips or a sponge, carefully blending the borders. You can use brushes with artificial bristles - they absorb less products than natural ones and help blend creamy textures well. If you apply a lot of blush, you can always cover it up by applying foundation on top. Use powder to set the cream blush on the skin. If the products do not create an oily sheen, you do not need to use powder.
Cream eyeshadow
Cream shadows are quite rich, they give a brighter shade than dry shadows and add shine to the eye makeup. They are presented on the market both in gel form and in stick form. The shadows in the stick are denser in texture and can also be used as a contour. Gel-like shadows are easy to apply and blend and look natural.
Cream shadows can be used in makeup on their own and as a base for dry shadows for greater durability; They can also be mixed with dry textures. There are cream shadows that harden and stay on the eyelids very well and do not crease. This is their plus, but their minus is that they harden quickly, do not shade well, and you need to apply them very quickly! If the shadows do not harden, they must be fixed with dry shadows or transparent powder, which absorbs oils and does not cover the color of the shadows. It is better to apply cream shadows using your fingertips - due to their formula, they melt from body temperature. In addition, using your fingers you can apply them more evenly and delicately. It is best not to stretch them over the eyelid, but to carefully drive them in. You can also use synthetic brushes that will help you blend the shadows thoroughly.
When applying eye shadow, do not use powder as a base, as their interaction often causes creases to form on the eyelids. If you want to achieve a radiant effect, it is better to use non-hardening shadows, do not powder or apply dry shadows on top of them. The result will be an imitation of wet skin. Unfortunately, this eye makeup will not last long, the shadows will roll off on the eyes, but it is very beneficial to use as a creative image for photography. If the eyelid is very oily, then you should avoid using heavy eyeshadow in commercial makeup - after a while the shadows will roll off. For the same reason, it is not recommended to use cream shadows in summer, as they melt at high temperatures.
There is also a cream eyeliner, which is presented in a jar, and, as a rule, the eyeliner comes with an angled brush for application. This eyeliner has water-resistant properties. If desired, immediately after application the contour can be shaded to create a smoky effect.
Face sculpting
The sculpting technique is based on principles taken from painting - the play of light and shadow. Dark tones reduce and distance, while light tones, on the contrary, increase and bring closer. By lightening or darkening certain areas, visual correction of the shape and features of the face is achieved. How to correct your face? The easiest way is to visually draw an even oval on the face. The parts protruding beyond it will need to be darkened using a dark corrector. Creamy correctors will give a soft tone without clogging pores, and at the same time soften the skin. Fat correctors will add depth and highlight the contours of the face. This is important when creating an image for portrait photography.
Before correcting your face shape, apply makeup foundation. Using peach and olive colors we will disguise skin imperfections, bruises and redness on the skin. And we start contouring immediately after applying the foundation. The next stage is highlighting. This is the center of the face, the middle of the forehead, the upper part of the cheekbones, the sub-brow area, the area above the upper lip and the middle of the chin. This technique helps to refresh and rejuvenate the face, giving it a rested and radiant look.
Now we need to darken the areas of the face that we want to visually deepen, and apply a contour, outlining the oval of the face. We darken the hairline, submandibular part, side parts, as well as the subzygomatic cavity, temporal cavity, and side walls of the nose. Use highlighter to highlight the line of the nose, the area under the eyes, and the chin. And on the forehead, highlighter should be used with caution so as not to weigh down the upper part of the face.
