Sometimes we ask ourselves: “How to surprise a client and do something interesting and effective?” And we want, no, we really want the effect to be several times stronger than with a conventional procedure or any combination of them. So we have this question. And it resulted in another bath mix.
This procedure is unique in that it combines rehabilitation and cosmetic procedures. Many people believe that rehabilitation is only needed for athletes and people who have suffered injuries and various surgeries. And few people think that many irritants that we encounter every day affect our body in a similar way to severe trauma or great psychological stress.

For cosmetic care, we are used to going to beauty salons and to a cosmetologist. This is right. Cosmetic procedures help to cope with external skin defects without affecting the internal problems of the body. The set of procedures in the “Rejuvenating spa bath” program allows you to solve two significant problems: restoration of the body and cosmetic body care (while saving clients’ time). And if we look in more detail, bath procedures affect the relief of psycho-emotional and physical stress, the prevention of diseases of the cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous and urinary systems, the musculoskeletal system, and also provide skin care, improvement of its condition and appearance, and figure correction , weight loss, reducing the appearance of cellulite, obtaining a rejuvenating effect, detoxification. This direction captures the entire audience, regardless of gender.

The complex of procedures presented in this program makes it truly easy and beautiful, which affects not only the rejuvenation of the body, but also changes for the better in the client’s inner world.

Procedure protocol

1. Meeting the client, anamnesis, procedure progress

We meet the client and get to know him. Then we accompany him to the locker room, where bath accessories are already prepared for him (slippers, sheets, towels, felt or felt hat, bikini).

After the client has changed clothes, we give a short tour of the bathhouse. We show you where everything is and how it works. Then we treat the client to pre-prepared tea, at this time we collect anamnesis and tell the progress of the procedure.

2. Initial warming up in the steam room, soaring the feet in the pelvis and massaging them

After the client has taken a shower, we invite him to the steam room. We suggest putting your feet in a basin with a pre-prepared mixture (milk, water, rose oil and rose petals), temperature – 40–42 °C. After warming up the feet, we immediately perform an express foot massage.

The initial warming of the body is a preparatory stage for subsequent procedures. And warming up and massaging the feet contribute to a smoother adaptation to thermal procedures, due to the fact that they contain a large number of biologically active points that affect the general condition of the body. The solution in which your feet are steamed will have a beneficial effect on the skin of your feet.

After completing the first warm-up, leaving the steam room, we suggest the client take a warm shower to wash off the first effusion of toxins from the skin.

The duration of the first stage is 7–10 minutes.

3. Peeling

We invite the client to lie down on a warm heated massage table for peeling. The goal of the procedure is to remove dead skin particles, which improves skin respiration and circulation of intercellular fluids. Ingredients for peeling: ginger, red hot pepper, ground eggshells, cinnamon. We use a mixture of honey and water as a guide. The duration of the procedure is 15–20 minutes.

4. Rest (up to 15 minutes)

Without washing off the peeling, we wrap the client in a sheet and escort him to the relaxation area, where he recovers and drinks diaphoretic tea (linden, currant, chamomile, peppermint and lemon balm).

5. Classic steaming with brooms with elements of wellness steaming (developing and increasing the amplitude of joints)

While the client is resting, we prepare the steam room. We put hay on the shelves and steam it. We spread a sheet on the hay. We bring various pre-prepared bath infusions and steams into the steam room. We regulate the temperature in the bath (from 50–65 °C) and humidity (50–80%) depending on the individual characteristics of the client’s body. Having prepared the room, we invite the client, who has regained his strength, to go into the shower so that he can wash off the previously applied peeling, and we invite him to the procedure and place him on the shelves. The steaming technique is classic: non-contact steaming, stroking, whipping, patting, rubbing with birch brooms, poultices, stretching, kneading, wellness steaming according to Kapralov (development of joints with steaming with brooms). Soaring is carried out on the back and front surfaces of the body.
After completing the procedure, we recommend that the client take a warm shower for 5–7 seconds, and then (if desired) we offer contrasting procedures: plunge into a pool with cool water or rinse from a cascade bucket.

6. Rest, tea

Rest after steaming – up to 20 minutes. At this time, the client drinks tea or kvass.

7. “Milk swaddling” procedure

Milk, when applied externally, has a positive effect on the skin. Thus, vitamin A eliminates skin fatigue, B vitamins smooth it, vitamin E performs a regulating and regenerating function, proteins protect the skin from dryness, and milk fats moisturize. Also, during wrapping with milk, toxins are actively removed and swelling is removed, and this strengthens and tightens the skin. It should be noted that it is advisable to use natural milk (cow, goat).

Technique: lay a cosmetic film on a heated massage table or chebek, lay a sheet on top, soaked in milk, heated to 85–90 °C, after squeezing it a little. We invite the client to lie down on a sheet (cooling it to a temperature of 40 ° C), wrap him up in such a way that only his head remains exposed. Pour the remaining milk on top of the sheet and wrap it in cosmetic film to achieve a greenhouse effect.
For a better fit of the fabric to the body, we apply light pressing movements throughout the entire sheet. Cover with a large towel on top to retain maximum heat.

Exposure duration is 20–25 minutes. At the same time, while the client is lying wrapped in a sheet, you can give him an express foot massage.

We do not wash off the remaining milk.

7. Rest and tea

8. Rub with lentil flour

The goal of this procedure is to completely cleanse the skin. The technique is based on the lymphatic drainage massage system: forward-return movements are performed from the center to the periphery until the skin is completely cleansed, feels soft and has a matte effect.

The duration of the procedure is 15–20 minutes.

9. Massage with hot herbal bags through silk

Massage with herbal bags is carried out in combination with manual massage techniques through silk fabric. Herbal bags steamed in a double boiler are an element of thermal and phytoaromatherapy. Silk will give the client a feeling of lightness, and hot herbal bags will affect not only the muscles and skin, but also the psychosomatic state of the client. This combination will significantly enhance both the therapeutic and cosmetic effect compared to manual massage.
30 minutes before the start of the procedure, steam the herbal bags and prepare the couch or massage table. Before the session, if necessary, light the aroma lamp and turn on calm music.

We prepare herbal bags as follows: put the herbal mixture (in a filter bag) on the bottom of a dry linen bag, place a wooden handle on top and tighten the braid of the bag around the handle, immerse the bags in water in a double boiler.

We set the steamer to maximum heating speed, carefully ensuring that the water does not boil. Place the herbal bags in a double boiler for up to 30 minutes. To enhance the aroma, you can add 3-5 drops of aromatic oils to the water.

NB! Don’t forget an important rule of aromatherapy: first we carry out an allergy test to determine the tolerance of essential oils.
The technique of performing a massage with hot herbal bags through silk is as follows. The client lies on the massage table on his stomach. We cover it with silk cloth, leaving only the head exposed. We place small warm bags on the feet and hands, and place a large bag on the sacrum. We let the client get used to the warmth and begin the massage.

We work with two bags, as they cool down we change them to other (hot) ones. The execution pattern is from the center to the periphery, the pace is slow, the pressure is moderate, the movements are circular, kneading. It is performed only on the back surface of the body. The massage time is 20 minutes.

10. Rest, tea party

The time allotted for the entire procedure is 3 hours. It can be carried out both in a Russian bath and in a sauna prepared in a special way (with reduced temperature and increased humidity).
