Peptide mesotherapy: from theory to practice
Mesotherapy gives excellent results in solving a number of problems. One of the current trends in injection cosmetology is the use of drugs that contain biomimetic peptides.

The injection mesotherapy procedure is a long-known method of introducing the active substances of the drug into the skin. The prerequisites for the emergence of this method date back to 1958, when the French doctor Michel Pistor tried to use procaine intravenously to relieve bronchospasm.
Having firmly penetrated the field of aesthetic medicine and cosmetology, mesotherapy gives excellent results in solving a number of problems. Experts, as a rule, distinguish allopathic and homeopathic mesotherapy, depending on the composition of the meso-cocktail, however, this is far from the only division. Rapidly developing, the field of cosmetology is expanding its capabilities, which makes it possible to improve injection techniques, including mesotherapy.
One of the current trends in injection cosmetology is the use of drugs that contain biomimetic peptides.
Peptides are substances whose molecules are built from two or more amino acid residues connected into a chain by peptide (amide) bonds. The uniqueness of their action lies in receptor regulation; despite their high biological activity, peptides are selective compounds that interact only with receptors on the cell membrane, without exhibiting a systemic effect.
Mesotherapy cocktails containing peptide complexes are highly effective. What issues and problems can be solved?
1. Oily and problematic skin, prone to rashes, enlarged pores
2. Dry, sensitive skin, prone to irritation and redness
3. Presence of age spots, post-inflammatory pigmentation
4. Withering of the skin, decreased turgor and elasticity of tissues
5. Dry skin, prone to rosacea, presence of telangiectasia
6. Excessive deposition of subcutaneous fat in the lower third of the face
7. Trichological issues: hair loss and thinning, dull and thinning hair
8. The first signs of photo- and chronoaging of the skin
9. Cosmetological defects of the periorbital area: hernial sacs, “dark circles” under the eyes, wrinkles and eyelid ptosis
An example of effective work with peptide mesotherapy was a clinical case at an appointment. A 29-year-old girl came in, whose main complaint was dry, irritated skin, nasolabial wrinkles, peeling and uneven skin texture. Objectively: dry, thin and dehydrated skin, areas with visible peeling and redness, the appearance of the first signs of age-related changes. Due to the active rhythm of life and lack of time, mesotherapy with the drug Dermaheal HSR 5 ml (South Korea) was proposed in an amount of 4 procedures, and competent home care was selected, aimed at moisturizing, increasing local immunity of the skin and strengthening skin barriers.
The mesotherapy drug Dermaheal HSR 5 ml contains: Hyaluronic acid 1%, Decapeptide-4, Acetyl decapeptide-3, Copper Tripeptide-1, Tripeptide-6, Oligopeptide-24, as well as additional components that create the necessary environment for active division skin cells and saturate it with nutrients - amino acids, vitamins, minerals, coenzymes.
The result of the 4 procedures completely satisfied the client’s needs. How does therapy produce such effects?
Decapeptide-4 – stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastin, tightening the skin and soft tissues.
Acetyl decapeptide-3 – provides restructuring of the dermis, stimulating the synthesis and migration of fibroblasts, as well as the expression of collagen.
Tripeptide-6 is the balance of tissue moisture, which is what we achieved in our work. Active stimulation of HA synthesis.
Copper tripeptide-1 – stimulates the process of angiogenesis, strengthens the vascular wall and restores the microvasculature.
Oligopeptide-24 – stimulation of the synthesis of HA and elastin, increasing elasticity and tissue turgor.
Additional tissue hydration and an optimal environment for fibroblasts are created by hyaluronic acid in the mesococktail.
The results obtained make it possible to talk about the high effectiveness and safety of mesotherapy with peptide-based drugs. It is worth mentioning the availability of all necessary documents, registration and certification of these drugs. This line of drugs is produced by the world-famous concern Caregen Co., LTD, South Korea, which takes care of the safety of the drugs produced, testing them according to various parameters, including oncological safety.
