Oxymesotherapy: how to choose the right cosmetics for the procedure
Oxygen and skin: what to pay attention to

The combined use of oxygen mesotherapy with properly selected cosmetics allows you to achieve exceptional results in the treatment and restoration of the skin.
Our skin consumes oxygen from the atmosphere. Every day, 3–4 g of oxygen is absorbed through the skin, which is about 2% of the body's total gas exchange. In terms of body surface area, this is approximately 1 mg of oxygen per 10 square cm per hour, provided that there are no additional obstacles to the penetration of oxygen into the skin in the form of dust, sweat, excess sebum, or the use of decorative cosmetics.
What happens to the skin when the body is hypoxic? First of all, the skin quickly runs out of substances that can provide oxygen-free energy production for its renewal. The synthesis of proteoglycans is sharply reduced, including hyaluronic acid, which is a kind of "sponge" for retaining water in the skin that comes from the blood. This causes less moisture to reach the epidermis. The synthesis of ceramides, lipids that bind the upper layers of epidermal cells and protect them from external drying, also decreases.
As a result of moisture loss, the upper epidermal layer of the skin and the dermis that underlies it quickly thin out, the skin loses its natural shine and begins to peel.
