Injection techniques: complications in contouring
What should a specialist be prepared for?

Errors during contouring can be related to the characteristics of the drugs used and the procedure itself.
The use of stable biopolymers that do not dissolve in the skin requires a fairly high professional level of contouring, since it will be possible to correct an error only if the amount of the injected drug is insufficient.
Removal of biopolymers by intratissue injection of hormonal drugs is not entirely justified: this leads to disorganization and atrophy of healthy tissues, not the biopolymer. Correction of excessive injection of such drugs is possible surgically, but this does not guarantee an ideal result and has its own surgical risks.
Biodegradable drugs must first of all be biologically safe, that is, preference should be given to drugs synthesized in the laboratory, rather than obtained from animals. The less the human body reacts to the administered drug, the longer it remains in the skin.
