Hardware body correction
Body correction requires an integrated approach to the process. Let's figure out what contribution hardware correction makes.
Figure correction is an individually selected set of cosmetological measures that help restore the figure to slimness and proportionality, remove excess local fat deposits, and eliminate sagging skin. A beautiful figure is one of the signs of health. It is not enough to simply lose weight - after all, no one will consider a woman with a skinny figure to be a beauty. It is necessary to form natural proportions of the figure, and beauty salons and clinics successfully do this.
Representing a comprehensive procedural approach to the problem, body contouring, however, is not a treatment for obesity or other similar diseases, due to the fact that these diseases have a different etiology. This branch of cosmetology is part of aesthetic medicine, aimed at improving the appearance of patients and their psycho-emotional state. This is what is called figure correction and correction of aesthetic defects of the body caused by excess fat deposits.
Today, figure correction services offered by various salons and beauty centers are more than extensive. However, their effectiveness, quality and, of course, cost largely depend on the level and general focus of these organizations. Some, using figure correction as a service, offer exclusively spa procedures, somewhere massage is practiced, and somewhere – more complex techniques based on advanced technologies.
At the beginning of this year, a rating of the most popular figure correction techniques among women was compiled (according to Russian beauty industry experts). The methods are arranged in the following order:
- Massage:
- Hardware massage.
- Manual (manual) massage.
- Lymphatic drainage massage.
- Mesotherapy.
- Wraps.
- Physiotherapeutic techniques.
- Surgical correction.
Of course, each method has its supporters and opponents. In this article we will consider the main features of hardware body correction, classical and modern technologies.
Star secrets Body shaping is not an easy task for celebrities either. For example, this is how popular world stars achieve their ideal figure. Jessica Maria Alba (actress), who has been voted the sexiest girl on the planet several times, is actively involved in fitness in her home “fitness club” using a special method. Madonna (singer) is passionate about macrobiotic nutrition, eats only plant-based foods, does yoga daily and runs regularly in the morning. Victoria Beckham (singer) keeps in shape by dancing, and exclusively in high heels, and is on a diet that limits the amount of food consumed to a minimum (on average, no more than 1000 kcal per day). Cameron Diaz (actress) is an active surfer and spends 4-5 hours a day in the water; of all existing diets, she prefers “green” (lettuce, cabbage, cucumbers, spinach, parsley, etc.). Halle Berry (actress) is regularly and actively involved in fitness and yoga, conducting 3-5 classes a week for 25-30 minutes. Eva Jacqueline Longoria (actress and model) regularly visits a massage therapist and does special gymnastics combined with strength training, prefers a Mediterranean diet with plenty of fluids (up to 3 liters per day). Julia Roberts (actress) is a fan of the program of the famous nutritionist Perricone. Recently, the star admitted that she owes her amazing shape to this food system and, in particular, to eating salmon. Zhanna Friske (singer, actress) went on a very strict diet, which she combines with a special course of physical exercise. According to informed people, Friske has a very complex figure, and ordinary weight loss and fitness are not suitable for her. Anna Semenovich (singer) wants to publish a guide for those who dream of losing weight. She managed to lose excess weight using a diet developed by her personally. |
Basic technologies of hardware body correction
Hardware body correction currently has two main directions of development:
- introduction and use in the beauty industry, in particular in aesthetic cosmetology, of advanced technologies that embody the latest world achievements and devices;
- active promotion to the market, mainly through online stores, of household devices for so-called “home” figure correction. These include electrical stimulators, magnetic therapy devices, vibration massagers, vacuum massagers, etc.
If in the first case, the consumer of services receives a high-quality and highly professional product, then in the second, these are most often ineffective or, worse, “battery-powered” devices that do not work from the network.
The reluctance of some managers of beauty industry enterprises to purchase the latest devices for figure correction can be explained by the following reasons:
– high cost of devices;
– inability to promote a new service;
– refusal or sabotage of some specialists to work with the new device;
– lack of advertising of new equipment and many other reasons.
Figure correction technologies are embodied in two main types of devices and devices:
- monodevices - use one technology. However, it should immediately be noted that there is no monotherapy in figure correction and cannot be. This should be a complex effect in the form of lipolysis, burning fatty acids, improving blood circulation in adipose tissue and muscles, removing excess water from adipose tissue, improving muscle tone and skin structure.
- multi-devices (“combines”) – combine several technologies, when 2-3 physical factors act simultaneously and are applied to the same area of the body in the form of one procedure. The combined use of physical factors can solve several problems, for example, improve blood and lymph circulation, shape the figure, etc. As a rule, such a complex effect is well tolerated by the client, increases the effectiveness of treatment, and helps reduce adverse reactions from the physiological systems of the body.
Practice shows that a noticeable improvement in the silhouette cannot be achieved using one or two methods (for example, myostimulation and manual massage), since any single method has strictly defined capabilities and is not able to solve the entire complex of figure correction problems. The specialist must clearly understand the purpose of each procedure, imagine the processes that it can activate, and predict the possible consequences of a particular impact. Since cellulite and excess fat deposits can be the result of any diseases, when carrying out hardware treatment for the purpose of body correction, it is necessary to:
- collect anamnesis;
- determine existing contraindications;
- do an inspection;
- carry out diagnostics;
- develop an individual treatment regimen;
- predict visible and stable results;
- carry out comprehensive treatment.
Professional body shaping Stratosphere
The German massage device Stratosphere effectively uses compression and vibration techniques to sculpt the figure, eliminate cellulite, reduce body volume and tighten the skin. Due to its non-invasive and physiological nature, the procedure is comfortable for the client and has a minimum number of contraindications. When performing the oil procedure, a controlled mechanical effect is exerted on all layers of the skin; no stretching or damage to the skin occurs, even at a maximum power of 600 rpm. When performing a procedure on a suit, it is used to locally treat problem areas. Friction against the suit increases the temperature of the massaged area by 2-3 ⁰C, and the greater mass of the metal block compared to silicone increases compression and the fat burning process.
Classification of main technologies
Modern hardware technology is a powerful tool for body modeling. Let's look at the main technologies used in hardware body correction.
Hardware lymphatic drainage is the effect of currents of a certain frequency along the lymphatic pathways in the direction of the lymph nodes. Hardware lymphatic drainage has a good effect on connective and muscle tissue and helps relieve congestion. The method is effective in the presence of local fat deposits, at the stage of starting figure correction programs, and in cases of lymph stagnation with venous disorders. This procedure is not prescribed for thrombophlebitis, lymphostasis of unknown etiology, or various diseases of the cardiovascular system.
Ultrasound therapy (US) is a method that uses mechanical vibrations with a frequency of 1–3 MHz at a penetration depth of 4 cm. Ultrasound has a mechanical, thermal and physicochemical effect on the body. The method is effective for all degrees of cellulite, since it ensures the transition of mechanical energy in the form of vibration into thermal energy.
Electrolipolysis is electrical stimulation therapy with rectangular pulse currents of constant polarity. In this case, needle or skin electrodes are used. The method is effective for local fat deposits and grade II-III cellulite.
Electrical stimulation (EMS) is a method of applying pulsed currents, including intermittent galvanic current, to excite or enhance muscle activity. EMS is an effective method of passive “training” of the muscles of problem areas, or “gymnastics for the lazy.” EMS can be classical, alternating current, microcurrent - depending on the waveform, type of pulse modulation (shape, amplitude, frequency). The method is effective for local fat deposits.
Endermology is active mechanical stimulation of tissues with self-propelled rollers in combination with vacuum exposure. The method is used to reduce the firmness and elasticity of the skin, decrease muscle tone, even to atony.
Mechanical palpation and rolling. The technology is based on the technique of mechanical palpation roller massage and rolling, thanks to a new improvement - a patented third roller on the internal treatment chamber. This ensures normalization of muscle tone and strengthening of the skin while working to eliminate fatty tissue. A device using this technology provides excellent treatment of human connective tissue. Such equipment can be used in cosmetology clinics and medical centers, rehabilitation medicine hospitals, beauty salons, spa, wellness and fitness centers.
The palpation-rolling method is successfully used in aesthetic medicine to correct:
- various degrees of cellulite;
- microcirculation disorders;
- hypertrophic scars;
- increased muscle tone after fitness training;
- sensations of fatigue and pain in the legs due to overtraining.
As part of the operation of the device, the following aesthetic programs are implemented:
- “Anti-cellulite program” (stimulation, surging of nodes, general lymphatic drainage);
- “Figure correction” (muscle stimulation, drainage, shape creation);
- “Lifting effect (face)”;
- "Relaxing massage";
- "Heavy legs."
Available scientific data confirm the successful use of device technologies in the treatment of various diseases (sports medicine, physiotherapy, rheumatology, neurology, arthrology, traumatology). However, there are some contraindications to the use of this method:
– diseases of the cardiovascular system, including thrombosis, phlebitis, unoperated varicose veins, lymphostasis, etc.;
– pregnancy. Procedures should begin no earlier than two months after birth;
– benign and malignant oncological diseases;
– open wounds, damage and irritation of the skin;
– skin diseases.
Features of home body correction
Of course, body contouring can be done at home. Cosmetologists can recommend their clients to optimize their daily routine, reduce the consumption of fatty foods, not overeat at night, walk more in the fresh air, perform special physical exercises, and use medicinal cosmetics. Of course, if this is an independent method, then in this case the figure correction will occur very slowly and depend on the client’s willpower. Therefore, options for home body correction are not feasible for many women and require the intervention of specialists. However, as an auxiliary method, in addition to salon procedures, the use of special equipment and equipment, such correction methods are quite possible.
Features of postpartum correction
Separately, it is worth mentioning figure correction after childbirth. Most women face the problem of gaining excess weight and swelling. In this case, it is recommended to undergo an examination, since the reasons may be changes in hormonal levels, and dietary restrictions can harm both mother and child.
Conclusion
Thus, comprehensive body correction in the broad sense of the word is one of the main sources of income for numerous beauty industry enterprises (salons, spas, wellness and fitness centers), as well as clinics and medical centers both in our country and abroad. The success of business development depends on how fully the enterprise is equipped with new equipment, equipment and, accordingly, new technologies.
