Hair growth pathologies: application points for laser hair removal

The development of civilization is inextricably linked to the desire of man to get rid of unwanted hair, which can be exemplified by countless examples. Hair removal methods have evolved from threads and bronze razors found by archaeologists in the Egyptian pyramids to the advent of lasers in modern medicine.
The main reason for visiting a laser hair removal clinic is to remove unwanted hair. When talking about excessive hair growth, they most often mean hirsutism and hypertrichosis, depending on the location on the body. The reason for laser hair removal can also be pseudofolliculitis (ingrown hair) or keloid-like acne (ingrown hair with an inflammatory reaction around it, which can cause pigmentation disorders, hair loss and skin scarring). Hirsutism
Hirsutism is defined in women by excessive hair growth or the appearance of thick dark hair in androgen-dependent areas: above the upper lip, on the chin, cheeks (sideburns), in the auricles, on the back, chest, in the nipple area, lower abdomen, on the front and inner surfaces of the thighs. It is often combined with menstrual irregularities and acne.
