The initial pleasant roundness of the face and figure often later turns into a swollen body with a whole bunch of concomitant pathologies. It should be remembered that it is impossible to control fat metabolism through liposuction. Therefore, even after surgery, a change in the size of fat cells will be observed in areas that were not affected.

In this regard, patients who have undergone liposuction surgery must remember an important rule. To maintain the achieved result, it is necessary to comply with several conditions:

  • normalize the diet;
  • undergo regular sports loads;
  • identify the cause of excess weight and prescribe drug pathogenetic treatment.

Otherwise, the difference between the operated areas of the body and others will be quite noticeable and, moreover, unaesthetic.

According to modern ideas, general obesity is the result of an energy imbalance that occurs when the amount of energy exceeds the body's energy expenditure. Excess energy leads to the deposition of an additional volume of adipose tissue. This causes hypertrophy of fat cells in both the superficial and deep layers. With severe obesity, the thickness of the adipose tissue becomes significant, and the contours of fat traps cease to be clearly defined. Such changes in adipose tissue often occur in adulthood and require mainly conservative treatment.

At the same time, according to research, fat cells can be formed throughout life. The increase in fat mass as a result of hypertrophic processes, as well as an increase in the number of cells, is unfavorable for the prognosis of conservative treatment. Effective figure correction in these patients is possible with the help of liposuction, which leads to the removal of excess fat cells.
