Figure correction programs: microcurrent therapy
Features of the procedure
Microcurrent therapy has long and firmly entered the practice of dermatocosmetologists. A fairly wide scope of its application and effectiveness are the arguments that determine the popularity of this procedure, which has already become routine for many specialists. We offer you to refresh and possibly supplement your knowledge in the field of using pulsed currents for figure correction.
Microcurrent therapy is one of the most popular hardware methods in cosmetology. Its main advantages are efficiency, simplicity, painlessness, a relatively small list of contraindications, etc. Traditionally, microcurrent therapy is included in facial care programs. However, in complex figure correction procedures, it can be no less effective, especially since the effect obtained after it is not provided by any other physiotherapeutic factor.
Microcurrent therapy helps restore microcirculation and lymph outflow, activates metabolic and reparative processes in the epidermis and dermis. When performed in the postoperative period (after liposuction, abdominoplasty, etc.), it accelerates healing, shortens the duration of the rehabilitation period, and reduces tissue swelling. Under the action of microcurrents, the condition of aging skin improves - its tone increases, the relief is slightly smoothed, and the color improves.
