Adaptation syndrome as a cause of complications in cosmetology
Let's figure it out
The article examines the main mechanisms of stress, the factors causing it, as well as the role of the adaptation syndrome in the pathogenesis of human diseases and the development of complications in cosmetology.
The term "stress" was first used in biology in 1936 by the Canadian pathophysiologist Hans Selye.
Stress is not synonymous with nervous tension, chronic fatigue, or depression, but these symptoms can occur with or be a result of stress. Hans Selye identified three stages in the development of the general adaptation syndrome.
Skin cells carry receptors for all the hormones and molecules that are secreted during stress. Accordingly, they will affect the physiology of the skin to one degree or another.
