PMU Conference "Indelible subtleties", or When everything has been spoiled before you"

The Estet group of companies and the Permanent magazine held a Conference for micropigmentation specialists / linergists, cosmetologists, makeup artists, heads of permanent makeup training centers and schools, permanent makeup brand distributors for two days giving new knowledge and practical advice.

Day one: knowledge revision

The event began with the registration of participants, meeting with partners and a series of pictures at a bright photo zone in the style of pop art. Then the participants went to the holy of holies - the hall where the conference itself was held.

After welcoming words from the organizers, the conference was opened by Anna Stovbyr, dermatovenereologist, member of EADV, participant of international and Ukrainian conferences, with the report "Complications in PM: medical aspect". She told about what it is necessary to ask clients about and why spraying “Bacilol” is not sterilization.

Further, Victoria Rudko , stylist-make-up artist, head of the Rudko Artline Permanent Makeup Academy (Kyiv), a certified trainer-teacher of international level and the official representative of Purebeau in Ukraine (Kiev), made her report on the topic “The etiology of scar tissue and the specifics of working with scars” . The specialist shared information about what scars permanent makeup masters face on a daily basis, and talked about how to work with them safely and easily, as well as what scars to watch out for.

Should you be afraid of lasers made in China, how to understand that they want to sell you a fake laser, what to look for when choosing a laser for removing permanent makeup and tattoos? After Yaroslav Vinnichenko's report "Removal of Permanent Makeup with a Laser: What a Master Should Know", the participants of the conference know not only the answers to these questions, but also other important nuances of permanent removal. Yaroslav Vinnichenko is a specialist with experience in the safe removal of tattoos and permanent makeup, founder of LASER STUDIO 10/64, national training trainer for Prime Laser Systems (Kharkiv).

The next report was presented by Denis Tikhoruk, Director of Medikalazer LLC. He told everything about using a laser to remove permanent makeup and tattoos, focusing on the nuances of choosing a laser so as not to make mistakes.

During the break, the participants had the opportunity to treat themselves to delicious snacks, chat, get to know each other, test products and get a lot of new information at the stands of partners. The second block of the scientific and practical conference "Ideal Geometry" began with a very interesting topic by Yulia Novoselova - "Psychology in permanent makeup: a unique approach to each client." Some recommendations I even wanted to outline:

1. There are no bad clients.
2. Not everyone comes specifically for eyebrows and lips. Women come for confidence, they want to attract attention, they want to spend time and money on themselves.
3. The features of perception of appearance are influenced by age, upbringing, childhood impressions and examples, environment and communication environment, nationality and ethnic characteristics.

Permanent makeup can not only give lips sensitivity, but even slightly increase them. What are the perfect lips? And how, after congenital or acquired changes, to bring their shape and appearance as close as possible to the ideal, said Alesya Khokhlova , an artist, master teacher of permanent makeup and artistic tattoo, founder of the school-studio of permanent makeup and artistic tattoo Millecenta (Belarus).

Inna Ovcharenko , an international instructor-teacher of KODI Professional, spoke about how to choose needles taking into account the client's skin type and avoid unforeseen consequences, as well as what to do if the client has oily or dry skin.

Natalya Dolgopolova presented her next report and told everything and even more about permanent eye makeup, types of arrows and shading. Natalia is an international class master teacher, IBF participant (2016, 2018), head of the NatalyBeauty school, author of the book Coloring in PM. Accurate color prediction” (Israel).

The third block "Getting into Color" began with a speech by Natalia Datsyuk on the topic "The main problems of color: the vagaries of color." The master showed and commented on the most difficult cases from her practice. An interesting and important topic for permanent masters. Natalia Datsyuk - PM master, makeup artist, national PM expert, founder of School&StudioPermanent, official distributor of A&I Schendel in Ukraine (Lutsk).

Lyudmila Zagrava (colorist, international-class permanent makeup trainer, exclusive distributor in Ukraine DIVA Factory, founder of the Permanent Makeup Beauty Academy) continued the topic of the main color problems, shared the secrets of their correction and the rules for selecting pigment depending on the color type and skin type of the client .

Summing up the work of the first day of the conference, the speakers took part in the general discussion "Errors in the PM: predictable result or accident."

Second day: workshop-intensive

The next day of the conference was extremely practical.

The first practical block was a lecture by Yaroslav Vinnichenko on critical mistakes when removing permanent makeup with a laser. After that, Yaroslav demonstrated the process of removing permanent makeup, not by word, but by deed, which caused the delight of all the participants of the conference! The famous master of permanent make-up Julia Sunduk literally lit the eyes of the public and gave everyone a lot of valuable advice. She demonstrated the perfect result of powdered eyebrows on the model, and in the process of creation she managed to discuss many issues and problems that permanent masters often face. “Many thanks to Estet for a wonderful workshop, where the masters had the opportunity to improve their level of knowledge, charge their “generator” and return to their usual studios with new strength and energy to create and give AESTHETICS to this world!” Julia shared her emotions.

The next block was started by Natalie Masnaya , whose lecture everyone listened with bated breath. “Watch your clients when they are lying,” advised Natalie Masnaya and told what points you need to pay special attention to create the perfect result.

The day ended with a demonstration of the procedure from the master of permanent makeup with vast practical experience - Natalia Dolgopolova. Natalya told the participants how to “draw” the lips correctly, and also shared the practical secrets of creating permanent lip makeup using watercolor technique, which she demonstrated on the model. And while you return to your studios to put into practice the knowledge gained, we return to our workplaces to start preparing for the next conference for permanent makeup and microblading masters, which will be held this September!
