Powder coating of eyebrows gives not only a natural and gentle effect, but also correct, quick healing of the skin without complications.

The technique of permanent makeup "powder eyebrows" is considered unique not only because it gives a natural and gentle effect, but also correct, quick healing of the skin without complications. But, albeit minimal, but skin care is still needed to avoid negative consequences. In this article, we will tell you how to care for the dermis during its recovery period, as well as what to expect from the manifestation of pigment every day.

Stages of skin restoration and healing of powdered eyebrows

It takes about 4 weeks for the skin to fully recover. Young skin heals faster due to accelerated metabolism - 3 weeks is enough for it, for age skin, on the contrary, more time is needed - at least 4-5 weeks. But in each individual case there may be differences, and the quality of preparation for the procedure also matters. But you need to know the main thing - the established shade of the pigment is not an indicator of a healed skin. Therefore, if the pigment gave the final sediment after 2 weeks, you need to remember that the recovery process is still ongoing and there is no need to rush for correction.

After the procedure

Eyebrows look bright, there is a slight redness and swelling. This is due to the fact that the skin is injured. The redness will pass in an hour or two, when the skin calms down. At this stage, the main goal is to take care of the dermis. She is very vulnerable and thin. It is necessary to completely limit touching the injured area with your fingers and treat it with an antiseptic to the maximum. For these purposes, you can use the usual chlorhexidine or other alternative means. Soak a cotton swab or a clean soft cloth in an antiseptic and gently wipe the eyebrows without strong pressure on them. Frequency of the procedure: every 15 minutes during the first 1-2 hours after the procedure, and later during the day as the lymphatic fluid appears. It is very important to get rid of lymph in time. Otherwise, it will dry out on the eyebrows and create a dense crust.

Let's pay attention to the fact that the master after the procedure may recommend doing nothing at all with the zone and letting it heal without your intervention. This is due to the body's reaction to injury to the skin. If the surface is quickly covered with new layers of skin and the ichor does not protrude, the area should not be intentionally touched.

First day

The next day, the eyebrows darken. This indicates the process of partial release of pigment mixed with lymph, as well as the body's reaction to skin injury.
During the day, the lymph already ceases to stand out, so there is no need to wipe the eyebrows. The main thing is to avoid steaming and injuring the skin. You can not wash your face with hot water, lie in the bathroom, use cosmetics. It is recommended to use cool water for washing.

Second day

Lymphatic fluid has already ceased to stand out, a feeling of dryness and tightness on the eyebrows may appear. The master may recommend starting to apply moisturizing ointments or gels, such as cosmetic petroleum jelly or other products. But it is important to warn the client that a dense layer of the applied product will clog the pores and prevent the skin from breathing. Because of this, the healing process may be delayed. Moisturizing ointment should be applied in a thin layer no more than 3 times a day for 2 hours.

Since the skin has not yet healed, you can not wipe the eyebrows with a fleecy cloth, cotton wool, wet wipes. Pat the area dry with a soft towel after washing. You can use paper towels. Steaming, eyebrow cosmetics are still prohibited.
It is important to avoid temperature fluctuations. It is better not to go outside in frosty weather, and if this is not possible, then cover the tattoo area as much as possible. In the summer, be sure to wear a hat and large glasses to protect the tattoo from direct sunlight, and also try to avoid rooms where air conditioning is on.

third day

At this stage, peeling may begin. Note that peeling may appear much later (up to 10 days) or not appear at all, which is associated with individual reactions of the body. In any case, it is strictly forbidden to tear off the skin with your hands, you need to let the dead layer move away arbitrarily.

Deliberately getting rid of peeling can lead to undesirable consequences, namely:

  • Re-damage to the recently healed dermis;
  • Isolation of the ichor, with which the pigment will come out and gaps will appear;
  • Prolongation of the stage of healing and restoration of the skin.

Peeling is considered the correct reaction of the body, it lasts no more than 2-3 days. If the skin is thin and the peeling is imperceptible, experts do not recommend touching and using additional products. If the skin is rough (which indicates insufficient and untimely removal of lymph), then moisturizing ointments can be applied.
It is important not to affect the area of the eyebrow arch as much as possible and to allow the skin to heal properly.
Until now, it is still not recommended to use decorative cosmetics, visit a bath, sauna or pool.

4-7 days

On the fourth day, the peeling intensifies and a slight itching may appear. Combing the tattoo area should not be, as there is a risk of damaging thin skin. If the itching is severe, it is recommended to gently press down on the top or bottom of the eyebrows with your finger, without directly affecting the permanent makeup. Such simple manipulations will reduce itching.
On the 5th-6th day, the peeling completely disappears, the eyebrows become lighter, more natural. The percentage of pigment yield is always individual. On average, this is 25-40%, but in particular cases, the balance can be either 20% or 100%.
Over the next two weeks, the shade of the pigment may change, become a little lighter, it is quite possible that small imperfections in the form of gaps will form. All this is corrected during the correction.

14 days

Two weeks after the first procedure, you can already use cosmetics, care products. But it is still worth avoiding steaming the skin, so it is recommended to wait another two weeks with the pool, solarium, and bath.
Pigment adaptation continues even if any visible processes have already passed. Within a few more weeks, the eyebrows may change color, becoming a little darker.

One month after the procedure

The skin is completely healed and restored, there are no restrictions.
At this stage, the final result is already fully formed, errors and minor flaws are visible, the pigment has fully mastered and given a shade. This is the ideal moment for correction - a second eyebrow tattoo procedure. During the correction, the master makes the necessary additions (if they are really necessary): we give the eyebrows brightness and the desired shade, remove minor imperfections. After the correction, all stages of healing are repeated, so you need to resort to the tips for caring for them again.

Instead of totals

Recall that the reaction to the procedure and the pigment is different for everyone, it depends on the characteristics of the organism. For some, the process of restoring powdered eyebrows is faster, for some it is slower. The main thing is to always listen to the advice and trust your master, follow all his recommendations and provide timely eyebrow care. Only in this case, permanent eyebrow makeup will show its best sides and get the perfect result.
