Eyebrow shading implies a uniform distribution of pigment in the subcutaneous layer. The use of several tones allows you to achieve the most natural look.

Eyebrow shading technique is an ideal tattoo option for clients who have thick natural brows but lack the shape (height and length of the brow). Shadow shading helps to restore the integrity of the eyebrow, slightly adjust the shape. Before drawing a sketch, the master can remove excess hairs, highlight the highest point of the eyebrow, etc. Eyebrow shading implies a uniform distribution of pigment in the subcutaneous layer. Using several tones allows you to achieve the most natural look, it is only important to choose the right shades and make the transition from light tones to a more saturated shade as smooth and invisible as possible.

Eyebrow Shading Types

Masters can have three types of eyebrow shading in their arsenal and offer them to clients in accordance with their requests:

  1. Powdery shading. The specialist emphasizes the eyebrow line, and the rest of the space is slightly tinted. The technique is suitable for fair-haired girls and for those who have sparse eyebrows.
  2. Decorative shading. The pigment is applied under the skin with a more saturated layer of the desired shade. The technique is suitable for those who need to emphasize the line of the eyebrows and give them volume.
  3. Dense shading. Working in this technique, the master needs to apply the pigment more densely than in the previous one. Suitable for those who have dark thick eyebrows, or for girls who are used to tinting their eyebrows brightly.

The difference between powder technique is in the depth of pigment application . The needle penetrates the topmost layer of the skin, spraying paint, which visually creates a powdery effect. That is, unlike the classic method of shading (shotting), which involves a fairly dense filling of the eyebrow area with pigment, powder shading is a lightweight version of shadow shading.

Although the styles of shading in each type of shading are different, the task of the master is the same: to make the color lie evenly.

Don't make mistakes!

Many novice masters start work from the head of the eyebrow - this is wrong. You can go deep in the head and this will be immediately visible as a result. Experts recommend starting work from the tail, along the bottom line of the eyebrow. Another mistake can be the wrong amplitude when painting the head of the eyebrow. As a result, an unnecessarily dark head may also turn out. It is recommended to use a less dense stroke in this area. A good amplitude gives more rarefied particles and the shadow, accordingly, will be less dense. Uneven stroke density is another mistake. Learn to work in the same rhythm to keep the same stroke density.

We make the first pass tight enough so as not to lose the sketch. The movements should be smooth, it is necessary to monitor the angle of pigment introduction: the more vertically the pigment is introduced, the better it fits. The second pass allows you to slightly thicken the color, and the third - to fill in the gaps.
