To be professional means to be perfect in detail. Any professional has his own position and clearly shows it. This also applies to the master of permanent makeup. Obviously, when a craftsman starts working, his/her priorities are to make money and expand the customer base. However, sometimes novice professionals feel uncomfortable turning away a client due to illness. Psychology is the only key to the problem.
Beginners in this respect are completely different from skilled PM masters. Of course, every PM specialist should be a client-oriented specialist; having a medical background would be a big bonus. However, beginners are always ready to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge, while professionals can sometimes take things for granted, resulting in increased chances for mistakes.
Therefore, anyone involved in permanent makeup should always take into account that there are some conditions that may cause contraindications to the permanent makeup procedure. It can be:
- irritated skin;
- infected skin;
- eczema;
- psoriasis;
- severe solar keratosis;
- open wounds and ulcers;
- herpes;
- any chronic diseases in the period of exacerbation.
The important thing is that the client must follow the recommendations of the permanent makeup master, to whom he applied for the procedure. A professional, in turn, must always be sure that the decision he makes is the right one.
