Permanent makeup is very closely intertwined with many sciences, including virology - the invisible side of the master's work, but one of the most important! But do we all know that with any impact, especially associated with a violation of the skin, it is possible not only to awaken a virus sleeping in the body, but also to infect a patient or yourself with it?

Useful material in the heading " The ABC of a Beginning Master " with comments by microbiologist-virologist Anna Esypenko. We continue to deal with viruses that can become aggravated during the work of the PM wizard.

P - Papillomavirus

Like HSV, the human papillomavirus (HPV) has a visible symptomatic picture and has the ability to aggravate and grow.

So, human papillomavirus (English human papillomavirus , HPV) is a group of viruses from the papillomavirus family, including 27 species from five genera and more than 170 types (strains). In the people, it is called a wart, it can be localized on any part of the body. It is possible to become infected by household means, for example, through touch, it enters the body through abrasions and scratches on the skin. Self-infection (autoinoculation) during shaving, epilation is possible.

papillomavirus

The papilloma virus can be in the human body, but it does not manifest itself in any way. However, with a weakened immune system, stress, some changes in the body, it can manifest itself. Growths are both large and small in size and can even be on the eyelids or lips.

When performing the procedure on the site with HPV, care must be taken, there is a high risk of re-infection if the master catches the papilloma and introduces it into neighboring cells, which will lead to growth. Therefore, it is advisable to carry out the procedure after the complete removal of HPV.

Another problem is that the formation may be malignant in nature, and a tattoo performed even near this area may manifest itself in an unknown way. Therefore, histology and consultation with a dermatologist are paramount.

In the next publication, we will move on to viruses with which a specialist can “reward” a client or, if neglected, get the disease for himself.
