Do not forget that tattooing is a procedure that is directly related to damage to the skin and there are precautions that both permanent makeup masters and their clients should be aware of.

Today we will talk about skin problems, the presence of which can delay or even prohibit the procedure. Please note that the information is provided for informational purposes only and it is better to discuss each individual situation with a dermatologist.

Moles

Separate benign and malignant moles. Benign ones have smooth edges, small (up to 6 mm) size, solid color. Such moles usually do not pose a danger, during the procedure it should not be touched, you should only “go around” it around the perimeter at a distance of 0.1 mm. Malignant - have a size of more than 6 mm, uneven (torn) edges and may have spots of several shades. Working near such a birthmark necessarily requires the permission of a dermatologist.

Papillomas

The papilloma virus can be in the human body, but it does not manifest itself in any way. However, with a weakening of immunity, stress, any changes in the body, it can show itself in the form of so-called warts. Such growths are both large and small in size and can even be found on the eyelids or lips. The problem is that the formation can be malignant in nature, and a tattoo performed even next to this zone can manifest itself in an unknown way. Therefore, histology and consultation with a dermatologist are paramount.

scars

To work on the surface of the scar, the master must have tremendous experience and qualifications, since there are a lot of nuances here. However, it is worth mentioning that there are three types of scars:

  • atrophic - the plane of the scar is slightly lower (deeper) relative to the level of the skin;
  • hypertrophic - the plane of the scar is convex, located above the level of the skin surface;
  • normotrophic - has a pale color and is located on the same level with the surface of the skin.

It is allowed to carry out tattoo procedures only with normotrophic scars. The master must have a certain amount of knowledge regarding what needles and pigments to work on such a surface.

Herpes

This virus can also “live” in the body for a long time without showing itself. In such cases, if a lip tattoo procedure is planned, and the client is prone to such rashes, antiviral drugs are agreed in advance. Of course, with a doctor. If the procedure is prescribed during the period of exacerbation, this is a reason to postpone it until full recovery.

Dermatitis

An allergic reaction to any chemical components, seasonal changes can manifest itself as:

  • redness;
  • puffiness;
  • peeling;
  • burning.

That is why the client, knowing his tendency to allergic reactions and, moreover, during an exacerbation, must necessarily consult a doctor before signing up for the procedure. It is always better to approach each individual case with attention and think over solutions in advance. After all, even excellent work, complicated by an allergic reaction, can heal in an incomprehensible way and leave both the master and the client dissatisfied.

Fordyce granules

Despite the complex name, many have met, and maybe not even always paid attention to light, almost imperceptible dots on the surface of the lips. They can be found on any part of the body and do not pose any danger to humans. We, in the case of a planned tattoo, are interested in the presence of granules on the lips. The procedure is carried out as a regular permanent lip make-up, but with a higher color density and, most often, with one or two corrections.

Today, almost everyone can afford the procedure of permanent makeup. However, you need to go for it consciously, always listening to the advice of the chosen master. And the master, in turn, is obliged to show all his professionalism in order to obtain the best result and a grateful client.
