Camouflage of dark circles under the eyes, carried out by an inexperienced master, not only does not solve the client's problem, but can also add new ones. How to achieve a natural result and avoid negative consequences? Reading in the article

Relatively recently, the range of offers in the permanent make-up room has been replenished with a new procedure. Masters began to practice a type of tattoo that can correct dark circles under the eyes.

In the modern rhythm of life, given the constant stress and lack of sleep, for many women, masking dark spots may be a real salvation. However, in inexperienced hands, the camouflage of dark circles under the eyes not only does not solve the problem of clients, but also increases the risk of adding new ones.

We want to emphasize right away that this problem is not as simple as it seems. Darkening of the skin around the eyes is quite common. Since the age of 30, hyperpigmentation of the periorbital region (speaking in scientific terms) worries almost all representatives of the Caucasian race. The problem has not yet been sufficiently studied, and therefore, despite the need to solve it, the PM is only beginning to look for ways to solve it.

Medicine offers many methods of exposure to solve the problem of hyperpigmentation: phototherapy, laser exposure, mesotherapy. At the same time, the possibility of their application, as well as the effectiveness of the procedures, will depend on the cause that caused the given problem, and are always associated with a certain risk. Aesthetic dermopigmentation (camouflage) in skillful hands will help the client in many cases (excluding the most neglected ones).

Quite often, masters offer this method of correcting aesthetic imperfections as an effective solution to those who failed to correct dark circles with the help of care procedures - neither patches nor creams. At first glance, PM camouflage appears to be a safe and easy procedure. But even here everything is not so simple.

For camouflage of dark spots, the specialist must choose a pigment or a combination of several colors, taking into account the natural skin tone. The order in which pigments of certain colors are applied is very important. First you need to neutralize the blue with highly diluted pink or orange pigments. Then proceed to the application of pigments close to the color of the skin. In conclusion, with the help of white pigment, the skin is visually leveled, working out the places of wrinkles. It is important to apply the color not tightly so that the healing proceeds quickly and there is no swelling.

When mixing primary and complementary colors, masters must firmly remember the rules of color: which color enhances others, and which, on the contrary, can visually “extinguish” colors located nearby. Given that the skin is heterogeneous in color and texture, working with pigments of different colors and applying translucent layers to each other, as a result, the master should get a natural result.

The procedure, as a rule, does not last more than an hour, and the pigmentation correction process is necessarily divided into several stages to improve the effect of the procedure.

Experts do not recommend using too many anesthetics in this area. In addition, due to superficial damage to the upper layer of the skin by the needle of the PM device, as a result of exposure to the epidermis, the skin is renewed faster, which provides a rejuvenating effect from the procedure.

Result or consequences?

When offering camouflage for circles under the eyes, the masters must be responsible and not be silent in consultation with the client about the possible negative consequences of the procedure. After all, the slightest mistake of a specialist will lead to quite serious risks.

The discrepancy between the shade of the pigment and the skin tone, the change in color over time is the main problem. Not a single master, even an experienced colorist, can guarantee a 100% hit on the target. After a while, the color may turn into gray, yellow.

Quite often, the pigment in this area takes root unevenly, and white spots may appear. This happens through the fault of the master, due to the inappropriate composition of the pigment, and also as a result of exposure to ultraviolet radiation.

Dark circles in healthy people who do not suffer from concomitant diseases are just vessels that show through thin skin. After tattooing, the vessels will not go anywhere, and when the skin is completely restored, the capillaries will appear again, a vascular network may appear. If dark circles under the eyes look unaesthetic, but natural, then the vascular network is a more noticeable defect.

The complexity of removing eyelid camouflage is another “pitfall” of this procedure. Delicate skin in this area is extremely difficult to correct. The situation is complicated by the fact that white pigments contain titanium oxide, which cannot be removed with a laser, because. the light beam does not recognize it. It is also not recommended to remove camouflage under the eyes with a remover: chemical compounds are too aggressive for this area, they can cause scars.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the method of eliminating hyperpigmentation of the periorbital area has become a logical continuation of the development of the method of shading on depigmented areas of the skin, and especially on the upper eyelids, the skin of which is similar in structure to the skin under the eyes. The main thing is that PM specialists continuously hone their skills and consciously approach new techniques in their practice.
