Areola tattoo: how to care after the procedure
Areola: one step to perfection
The fact that corrective procedures are possible in aesthetic dermopigmentation makes it much more effective. But post-procedure care remains equally important.

In previous articles, we considered the basis of the technique of aesthetic areola dermopigmentation after surgery, in this part we will pay attention to post-procedural care.
After the procedure
Post-procedural care can be divided into several stages, each of which has its own nuances due to the physiological recovery processes occurring in damaged tissues.
On the first day after the EDP procedure, a scab is formed. At this stage, it is very important to avoid the stressful effects of external factors - aggressive detergents and disinfectants, high and low temperatures, friction, as well as physical exertion. It is recommended to wash the chest area with cool water (never hot!) with mild soap and apply regenerating hypoallergenic creams. The second stage begins on the second day, when the scab is already formed, and continues until the natural rejection of the crusts. During this period, physical, chemical and mechanical rest of the pigmented area and the use of a post-procedure cream are also indicated. And here the golden rule works: everything is good in moderation. An excess of cream threatens to soften the crust and prematurely reject it along with the pigment. The lack of cream is fraught with drying of the crust and its cracking. Well, forced removal by picking can lead to the appearance of depigmented, hypopigmented areas and even scars.
After the complete (natural!) rejection of the scab, the third stage begins, which is also the final one. At this time, the final restoration of tissues and physiological stabilization of the pigment occurs. The cream is applied as needed, but maintaining relative rest for the ED area is still important, as is protecting it from exposure to UV rays.
During the entire rehabilitation period, it is strictly not recommended to visit the bath, sauna, solarium, stay in the open sun.
After four weeks from the day of the EDP procedure, you can relax and return to your usual lifestyle. And the most important thing is to find peace of mind, which gives the awareness of physical fullness, incorporation into real life in its entirety, without any flaws. And all this thanks to the unique possibilities of modern aesthetic dermopigmentation.
